I did think about noticeboards etc but I would like to have some sort of safety net in case of any issues but I notice that a lot of companies ask for a fee of around 500 dollars and that all I get for that is they put me in touch with a cleaner who I then deal with directly. Is this the norm in Sin...

Live Out Helper

Hi,
I would like to ask if anyone has had experience of using daily babysitters ? We would like to have a live in helper but unfortunately we do not have any space to accomodate them. Is it possible to get a live out helper ? Any help would be appreciated.

Bug Zapper

Hi all, does anyone know where I can get a bug zapper in Singapore. I am looking for the ones that are shaped like a tennis racket and the 'strings' are electrified wire. Seems to be so many more mosquitos around at the moment.

Hi, thanks for the comments. To give a bit more detail, my wife and I have found a place on Lorong 41 which is a block of conservation houses and all are owned by the one company. The property has a lot of space, is modern and is not expensive in comparison to other areas. From a property perspectiv...

Jet wash

Hi All,
I was wondering if anyone knew of a Petrol Station where they have a manual jet wash for cleaning cars \ motorbikes ? Most of them have a Car wash but have not seen any with a manual jet wash (pressure wash ) ? Would be really useful when I want to give my motorbike a bit of a clean.

Cheers

Hi,
Does anyone know where I can buy sticky pads that stick onto the motorbike seat to provide more grip ? The pads are made of high friction rubber.

Buying Motorbike

Hi, can anyone recommend a motorbike dealer in Singapore that they have had a good experience dealing with ? I am interested in buying an Aprillia RS125. I believe Mah ltd sell them but I was told that they are overpriced. Would appreciate any other dealers I can speak to.
