Just ring and ask the gas supplier if they can supply a new connection for your rig. Explain that you need a new connection etc and if they don't understand or can't do it then ring the other guys. You should be able to get your gas bottle and connector done at the same time. They do it all the time...

Shopping in Phuket is pretty pricey compared to other parts of Thailand and not as good either, but there are some good bargains to be had if you look. DVDs and the like are pretty much frowned upon (like really illegal to bring back) but other stuff, hmmm, it is debatable I think as to whether anyt...

You mean they didn't make you pay for water? This is one of the places that only serve bottled water from memory, so you have sparkling or flat and pay through the nose for it. Agree with your comments, have been twice, both times with groups and shocking service and pretty average but way o...

They're not booklice (psocids) are they? These are tiny and you find them on walls, near aircons usually, doesn't have to be near books! They come in large groups and like mould and fungi. If you keep your place open and airy they tend to go away as they like it damp etc.

So it doesn't fit with one of those little plastic adaptors with the plastic earth point? You know the ones I mean, cost about $1.50 in supermarket? I wish I could find a pic but I can't. :? I use these on all my two pin plugs as it enables the point to work without having the earthing plug.

Matney is right, for some reason they are in the organic section in Cold Storage. Red and clear packets, we buy them all the time. Haven't had any trouble with the ones we buy at all. Some of the health food shops like the ones in Tanglin Mall used to have it too, but cost a bit more.

OMG people, just enjoy the fact that they are in with a chance for the gold. There is simply no pleasing some people at all.

Sheesh, as an expat living here with Singapore as my "home" I am supporting them, surely everyone should.
