OK, I was wondering this too...does the lack of answers here mean that nothing happens? Can we only expect this sort of thing if we live in a condo and therefore things may be organised?
What if we just live in a street of houses does this mean we won't have any trick or treaters? :???:

If you ask to get the grilles done, don't forget about the windows too! It can be just as much of a worry. Friends of mine got the balcony grilles done but forgot the windows and now have lots of troubles with an inquisitive 2 year old who could open the windows. Many windows here have no locks and ...

You beat me to it Carpe...I was looking it up as I had never heard of that term, and this article says that "frenching" comes from "french fries"!

Hi ScooterBiscuit As Seraphim says, you would do really well to contact the CWS, I can't recommend them enough. The volunteers who work there are all really helpful and should be able to answer any questions you have about taking on the stray and what would be best for it. The sterilisation program ...

Hi ScooterBiscuit
Like the others have said, it's good to hear that you have been able to sit and think about what you are going to do. You do sound like a confident and spirited person and with that I am sure that no matter what you will come out of this just fine. :)

Thanks guys. Your info is great, I now have a lot more ideas to work with and software to consider. Thanks too for confirming what I was thinking already, that Photoshop is overkill for my needs (and from all reports too hard to learn). Being a beginner at this side of things, I am not sure what I a...

Hi SB, It is hard to ask the right questions and get the true answers. As I said I have been in the same position, not that long ago. It is hard to believe him with what you say is his total denial of everything...how can he know nothing about all of them if they were opened? Not as though there was...

Photoshop or some other software?

I am looking to buy something like Photoshop but have absolutely no idea where to begin or what is good or not. I don't need it for anything except enhancing our own photos etc and making albums etc, and also to help the kids with some of their special projects etc, oh and for me to play around with...

Hi, I really feel for you too. Been there, had that done to me, and found out the same way. I know just where you are at right now. Maybe it isn't what you think, but you have to find out. Try and get some space to think clearly about what you are going to do (from your other posts it seems like you...

Hi Bubbles I think there is nothing better than reading a good book and scary ones are such fun...your imagination is so much better than any film if the writing is good. As I read your post I remembered the time I read The Shining...I was a teenager at home on one of those cold, wet wintry days wit...

We can recommend Dover Court as we have two children with special needs attending. The staff are excellent and class sizes are very small (up to 8 maximum I think) in the special education classes. It is a very friendly school with a "homey" feel to it and not as intimidating as some of the other la...
