For instance, the removing of one's shoes before entering someone's home. Not too long ago, I recall reading an expat's post on a different board of how outraged he/she was at having to do that. WTF!? Curious a good many of us don't wear shoes in our own homes to avoid soiling the carpet. Visitors ...

Just wanted to add that the place in HV is Turnstyles, they have two quizzes a week I think. They are in Lorong Liput down by all the pet shops and Parisilk. I think it is Tuesdays and maybe Thursdays but not sure, I think you need a team for that. The Old Brown Shoe on Bukit Timah Road just near Co...

We have used them a couple of times, they are reliable and our two cats were happy, well fed and looked after when we came home each time. Everything was spic and span, eg litter trays, food trays and the like clean and well maintained too. The guy who runs it might be young but he is very nice and ...

It is always hard when you are not around to see for yourself but she sounds like she has wonderful support with her husband to be...hey, h...

Don't forget to pack at least one of those big bottles of sunscreen, you will not believe how expensive it is here and the range is pretty limited too.

You will be joining many others who have done exactly the same thing. Singapore is not that much of a culture shock and there are lots of places to meet up with like souls.

I only knew of the ones at Bishan and West Coast but it seems if you look and search around there are a few more.

Have fun.

Great Danes do not have to be muzzled SMS, they are not one of the listed breeds that require it by the AVA. They do have to be leashed* though, as do all other breeds, including chihuahuas...

*except in the parks nominated as leash free.
