Louy just stick to the MRT, buses and taxis then, at least for a while.
We don't need any more rubbish drivers here. :P

Chixchix, you would be doing the dogs a favour rather than leaving them to suffer in that apartment. If she has never taken them out they are already suffering. A call to the AVA is a better option.

(RNT, I get the feeling this is not a neighbour but someone she has gone to see for the dogs)

Don't you believe that that is not hardsell in shops for handbags and the like. The sales assistants hassle and annoy you until you buy something just to get rid of them, I don't usually fall for it myself but I know people who have done, and get home and instantly regret the buy. You can just be br...

Well it is true, and the ones I have seen just look like any other dog in Singapore. You could say that about almost any breed that is brought here, none of them grew up here originally. I am not quoting breeders here in Sing or similar either. Anyway ChixChix, the other thing I am more conce...

It may not get over 32 (90) much here SMS but the humidity sits at 75% and higher all the time, so that can take it out of you more than 40 (104) with dry heat might. Even at a "cool" 24 (75) here at night the humidity is still at a minimum of 75%. Stacey I know quite a few people here who walk to w...

Haven't we had this conversation about Huskies in hot weather before? Not these ones but others... the very fur that insulates them against the cold also works to insulate against heat. Huskies do no worse here than other dogs, they just require, as RNT said, lots of exercise and somewhere to run an...

It's not that hard, leave poor RNT alone. Ours is way over $500 a month, more like about $900 or so, and their guestimates are always useless. I don't have any aircons on during the day unless for specific purposes and at night only to cool two bedrooms down for a few hours, then it is just fans. It...

Ha ha, I had to have a laugh at this one. I was just thinking that far from being competitive and paying a wage to someone who needs it the agency that Josephinee is talking about sounds like a total rip off. They take half the earnings??? That is a big percentage, and they charge way over the going...

Tanglin has a lot more facilities (all over from sports to computers etc) than Dover, but Dover is a small and friendly school where almost every teacher knows every student, whereas Tanglin is quite large in comparison. Tanglin also caters up to final years whereas Dover does not. You really only n...
