Re: What if candidate doesn't want to continue to work in SG after getting the EP

Hi everyone, I want to ask something about EP Singapore. I got job in Singapore and have submit EP. But after EP approved I don't want to work in Singapore anymore because of personal reason. So, what will happen to me if I cancel my aggreement to that company? Will I be banned by company and MOM? ...

Re: Anyone applied for citizenship but is still pending? How long have you been waiting?

One more questions: does anyone know if it's true that the longer the wait, the higher the chance that it won't be a reject? Does anyone know of anybody who was being turned down after, say, 22-24 months of wait? Longer wait does not have any impact on the application result. It might be like many ...

Re: Pay for LTVP lesser than expat or SC ?

Hi All, I am a SC and my Indian spouse is a software professional. Spouse is planning to be here on a LTVP and later apply PR. Is the salary very less for a LTVP holder when compared to a SC or Expat with the same skillset and same years of experience. Regards, BTH ! Actually depends on his softwar...

And if she were to get PR independently and then sponsor me? Do we have to be married for 2 years before that too?

Yes, surely. What is the reason to rush?

Is my only hope being in my 20's still. And if together application, both in 20's. But suppose being form Northern Ireland (UK) makes it hard :(

If you want to apply as a couple it can be only 2 years after marriage. At the moment, your chances looks low.

Re: PR approval in 2019

I was also wondering about my chances Profile: Single Male 27 Caucasian 3 years in Singapore EP of 4500 monthly salary My fiancee is Malysian Chinese and on an EP. She is 25. Are my chances better if we apply together as a married couple? Or even if she gets PR and then sponsors me in a year or two...

Re: DP for older children

Once DPs are issued, how often do they need to be renewed? Oldest child is nearly 19 years old and we are applying as a family for DP (based on husband obtaining EP through his job). Is it the case that, once a DP is issued, the child can rely on it even when they are over 21? He will not be in ful...

Re: PR approval chance in 2020

Hi everyone! Fyi I plan to apply for PR after the tax assessment this year. I have been working in Singapore for more than one year and would like to try my chances. Unfortunately I do not have any family tie here. I also understand that this year is election year so the outcome can be quite uncert...

Re: What are my chances? 26/M Malaysian/Chinese

Yes. from Jan '19-Jan '20. (not Nov '19) doesn't matter what work pass you are on. But you have zero chance until you have worked here for two "consecutive" years. Forget about what you did in 2013-14, aside from the better earning you received as opposed to working in M'sia, it doesn't help you on...

Re: Giving back, my PR approval journey

SF you are slipping! You missed the first line of his post! :oops!: He's proof of my saying! Sorry SMS. What did I miss? What I meant to say was if someone is on PEP and proves to commit to work and live in Singapore, PR should be straight forward. This is what I meant. That is what I meant b...

Re: Giving back, my PR approval journey

Hi everyone, I have recently become a PR together with my wife and child and as I've often relied on the posts or information shared on this forum by others I figured I'll add my experiences as a way of paying it forward. Feel free to ask questions and I'll try and share feedback. As a general note...

Re: REP renewal for retired PR

Although you have no employment income as a retiree, i guess you may well have income from CPF LIFE and other sources. It makes sense that authorities renew REP in that case. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro What other sources? Rental income, Dividends etc wont be counted as a regular source ...
