Hi, Please let's not confuse something that was reported by the media and then passed on verbally, with 'official policy'. I always need to remind myself (which is my polite way of reminding everyone else too  ) that the media (especially in US & UK) is there to make money by selling advertisi...

Kimi, certainly not mad at you. Sorry if I somehow gave that impression.
I'd recommend going to see the film together with someone. It's a good one to be able to talk through with someone else afterwards.
Enjoy

'Must see' film for Japan-o-philes

Jpatokal, Kimi, you'll both enjoy this one ...
now playing at the Cathay Cineplex, Orchard, "With You" or いま 会いいゆきます if I remember correctly. Good film, beautifully made, nice twists in the plot. Bring lots of tissues because it's a weepie.
Enjoy

RFID in Singapore food packaging yet?

Anyone know (for sure) what the plans are for RFID tags in food packaging? I can't believe that Singapore doesn't have 'something' in mind.

Hi, what you're suggesting can work for a while, but eventually the friendly boys & girls at immigration will start giving you two week, then one week visas, ultimately resulting in the 3-day 'leave and don't come back' visa. It does vary a lot; a colleague of mine (many years ago) got by on this ap...

Idiot's guide to COE, PARF, ARF - Where?

Folks,
Trying to explain COE, PARF, ARF to a visitor, and had a nice demonstration that "a fool can ask more questions than a wise man can answer"  :?

Anyone know where there is a simple, but complete, description of these, including how values are calculated?

Thanks
