Re: S pass waited for 3 month

Yeah, both Sabah & Sarawak are eligible, it is whether you are or not. Therein lies the question.

Re: SC Chances

Heinzketchup, my gut feeling comes from your last three points in your initial post.... Studies: BSc from UK Income: 250,000+ PA Occupation: Startup founder, hiring 30+ in SG and 100+ worldwide Especially the last one - your startup and local staffing (I'm assuming a fairly respectable number of the...

Re: SC Chances

Probably a good chance of it. But it's my gut feeling. I'd have no qualms about applying in your circumstances. Are you prepared for the IRS expensive headache if you obtain SG citizenship?

Re: LTVP application without PMLA coming 4th mth

Without a work permit or LoC, no. cannot work at all, day rate or otherwise. He could have his ltvp and even right to visit revoked should MOM walk on site and ask to see his work permit and he not have one. Not a good idea.

Re: Social Visit Pass to Singapore when a valid IPA exists

As long as you have money it shouldn't be any problem. What I don't understand is why your parent company would allow you to return to Singapore on an SVP is you are going to serve your notice in India. Something just isn't correct. However, no concern of mine. The IPA will not be finalized until yo...

Re: Social Visit Pass to Singapore when a valid IPA exists

Why is your current company requesting you return to India if you are still serving 3 months notice? If you are on an EP there is no requirement for you to return to India if you already have an IPA in hand for the new company. If you have a notice period of 3 months, then are you saying that they d...

Re: Dual nationality, sticker to enter Singapore

I just remembered why your nick looked so familiar. Went back and had a read of your previous forays here and realized we are wasting our time. Do as you like Alvin, I wish you the best, but if you should trip and stumble along the road of your children's formative years, I hope they survive your ma...

Re: Dual nationality, sticker to enter Singapore

Malaysia is the one that usually provided the stickiness due to history here. So usually, due to some people never giving enough information to work with when they post it's easier to use the one that give the most issues. Not really an issue. If, as an adult, you cannot juggle two children with 2 p...

Re: Dual nationality, sticker to enter Singapore

First of all, Alvin, please get rid of the attitude problem. I think this forum probably has a pretty good handle on most of these issues. We know better than most about dual nationality. In fact, I have two children that had dual citizenship. This isn't Hardwarezone, okay? If your child is a dual n...

Re: Tax Clearance

I know now why you are in the crap your in. You already stated to me that you have already worked for another employer this year. Even if you didn't tell the employer, they should have tried to file the IR-21 and it would have immediately let them know that they would have had to because your previo...

Re: Tax Clearance

It's still the employer's responsibility and I'm surprised the gave you your full final pay. They did know your were previously employed here, correct? You might check with them that they did, in fact, file the IR-21. The following taken from the IRAS website: https://www.iras.gov.sg/IRASHome/Busine...

Re: Working in Singapore but staying at Johor

Be careful, what you are doing is highly illegal. I'd be careful of that employer as he's hiring illegal workers (you). By law you cannot work until you have a valid work pass. There is NO grace period while waiting for an EP/S/WP. Doesn't matter if it's EP, S or WP. IF you are on an Employment Pass...
