I could simply say it out but its quite daunting as a foreigner, and I got a weird look when i did it once. Thank you to anyone that answers this...

Re: What did you guys bring when relocating?

Don't bring too much! I barely brought anything bulky.

You can always send some stuff over (if you really need it - freight is a nightmare).

Re: Data on expat kid population in local schools

I think ms yang is right, you should just ask the schools directly? Otherwise I think the % of slots that have been allocated to the earlier rounds can be a gauge, as well as general popularity ratings. As a foreigner, and if you do not need your child to learn higher chinese, perhaps opt for non S...

Re: Eye brow threading

I go to rupinis at HV!! $10/ thread or $7 if you get a card. Its pretty good but the downside is they don't trim your hair for you, they just thread and go ): Service isnt the best but its a decent price and they have quite a following too!

Re: Eye brow trimmimg

Idk if its in the Serangoon area but I go to Rupinis! They do brow threading and have a few branches. One branch in little india, not sure if its too far for you! $10 per threading (i think $7 if you get a card with credits) Browhaus is an option but not affordable at all!!! $25 :o but check them ou...

Re: New to Singapore: Neighborhood Recommendations

I just replied to a thread "Looking for an amazing condo; what’s your favourite?" perhaps you might want to check it out.

Personally unsure of 4 br prices! I recommended habourfront, but dempsey seems to be popular among other expats, and katong/east coast!

Re: Looking for an amazing condo; what’s your favourite?

Hi, My best friend lives in Corals and she loves the convenience of the location! Corals is pretty quiet now cos there aren't a lot of people there and the view is 10/10! Beware, the ships get a little noisy. Corals is nearer to the MRT than Caribbean, so its a plus. Corals and Caribbean are really ...

Re: Using IPad, Tablet as a learning material

If you're someone looking to use these learning aids, check with the school first? Some schools have a "learning device policy" but i do not think it starts in kindergarten? These stats aren't really publicly avail ):

Re: Young Person looking for short term work

Hi, Not sure if I can help but if you're interested try to look around linkedin? Depending on your skill level you can try poking around job search websites but I think that it would indeed be difficult to find a local company that would sponsor a foreigner unless you're in the business of translati...

Re: How to find a good marketing manager

Hi, I believe that you could post a listing on local job hunting sites like gumtree and also job street (if you're not looking for that much experience), otherwise, the others are right :) LinkedIn might be your best bet. I've seen listings on Facebook too! Really depends on your needs. P.s. I've tr...
