Much better route: drop off at Kranji MRT and take 170 to JB. Same thing going back. :)

Re: EP Rejected and Appeal in progress, is it possible to cancel in progress appeal ???

First of all, let's address the elephant in the room: It is clearly stated on the SAT site that if your employer applied for EP below the salary level for it to be approved, then it will be rejected. It is also stated there that salary and whatever information you indicated in the SAT site are not s...

Re: RECRUIT EXPRESS: Registration Form

It's only a registration form, so you should not worry. Recruit Express is also the one who processed my recruitment to my last job in Singapore and as far as I remember, if you only confirmed to take the job, then they will let you sign a document that says if you resign on your job within the firs...

Re: Spass application weeks apart

Just proceed on your application with company B. If your pass gets approved for company B, then plan your resignation with company A and continue from there. If your pass gets rejected, then at least you have a fall back of still being employed with company A. :)

Re: Jobs for people under DP

There are very limited jobs that are allowed to be acquired by a DP holder, example is sales assistant, which I don't think you would settle into as that doesn't tantamount to your qualifications. So my advice is to wait for your PR application results and once approved, try to apply for jobs. :)

Re: How to look for a job in Singapore from overseas

It still depends. To be honest, just because something does work for someone doesn't mean it will also work for you. For me, I found a job when I go here for vacation and follow up on my online applications. It also depends on what job you are applying for. I am in IT so everything is online. Also, ...

Re: 2 days employed and thinking to accept a much higher offer from a different company

Hello Nicolyn. You can resign, however you just need to make sure that your work pass is going to approved before you file the formal resignation (if you are a PR then just resign anytime). What you can do (I am assuming that you are on work pass) is that just wait until your work pass is approved o...
