Re: PR Rejected

Just thought I'll update this thread. His PR got approved last month. Applied with a salary of SGD 4200. Yeah, he just probably was too new back then in 2016. More salary now, a couple more NOA's....and he's right there today. Interesting this whole PR application process. I am about to embark on i...

Re: What is the expected EP Processing Time if encountered Public Holidays like Chinese New Year?

I believe they extended the typical processing time from 7 days to 3 weeks: http://www.mom.gov.sg/faq/work-pass-general/what-are-the-changes-in-the-processing-time-for-work-passes so, don't sweat it. =) Still in pending state. I am super anxious now. 8-[ 8-[ 8-[ Relax. I just did a renewal and new ...

Re: Do I need to fill Form 4 for my Wife and Each of my Kids?

Hi, I am working in Singapore on EP and applying for PR with my whole family. I have a dumb question, any help with that is much appreciated. My question is: Do I need to fill form 4 for my Wife and each of my kids separately? I have searched internet and could not find any answer to the question. ...

Re: Visa/EP with sponsorship?

Here is the link you need with all the info relevant to your situation. I have gone thru this just 2 years ago. Same situation as yours somewhat, French MNC, using local SG distributor to assist in sponsoring my EP. http://www.mom.gov.sg/passes-and-permits/employment-pass/apply-for-a-pass#submit-an...

Re: Visa/EP with sponsorship?

I currently work for a US-based company managing sales in APAC and am considering the possibility of a one-year stint in Singapore with my family. My company is not willing to create a Singapore business entity right now, so we're looking at what alternative options, if any, exist for me to be spon...

Re: RE: Re: My EP got rejected.Requesting for suggestions!!

So....let me get this straight. If at point of renewing your EP after 2 years, your salary remains stagnant, you got a problem renewing EP ?? Damn.....this country is tough ! :P Actually if you change jobs, for certain sectors, you may end up with a pay cut ... ;) Exactly ! Which is why I find that...

Re: Dual Citizen SG + MY

Well, I'm glad we got that settled. In summary, the absence (or presence) of a foreign country's stamp is merely a pretext for a border control officer to ask a question or two. (But so is the color of your shirt.) Say what ?? Dude...EVERY foreign passport that comes into and out of Malaysia gets s...

Re: Dual Citizen SG + MY

Both of you guys are really interesting....

This now you stamp it, now you don't....is ONLY prevalent amongst the motorcycles going in and out daily.

NOT the cars.

Don't know about the rest, I haven't crossed border by foot in AGES..... :D

Re: Dual Citizen SG + MY

Siv, that's not correct as you've wrote it. Malaysia tolerates dual citizenship among children/babies, in many cases at least. There are multiple references to that fact among Malaysian High Commissions elsewhere. It's not a general problem under current Malaysian citizenship law (which has changed...

Re: Dual Citizen SG + MY

Dude Malaysia does NOT allow dual citizenship. Period. The only way that is even possible is for those who take up another citizenship and just don't inform Malaysia about it. Like the thousands and thousands of those residing in Singapore and Australia currently and using the passport to their adva...
