Re: Outrageous? Residents pay to use facility in condo?

so as a tenant would you have to pay this or could you claim this was part of the landlord's fees and claim them back? If I was paying a premium rent I would certainly not be happy at being charged over the odds. As an aside is it normal to pay a S$1000 'deposit' for furniture/IKEA deliveries?

Re: No more public drinking and retail of alcohol post 10.30

Does a similar law apply anywhere else in the world, or is SG going to be a pioneer of this 'moral sobriety'? Most cities in the UK have areas where you can't have open alcohol containers at anytime of the day or night. Glasgow, Manchester, Leeds to name a few. Also, you can no longer consume or bu...

Re: New Passport, do I need to inform MoM/ICA ?

Going to answer my own question here, should have dug a bit harder on the MoM website before posting! #-o For those interested here's the answer from MoM "Q10 Can I still use the eIACS if there is a change in my passport details (e.g, passport number / expiry date) which is different from what I hav...

New Passport, do I need to inform MoM/ICA ?

I am returning to Singapore from the UK next week and have a new UK passport, I have a DP from my wife's EP. Do I need to inform MoM or ICA of my new passport details? Also, can I still use the Resident's gates at immigration or will i need to queue with the plebs?

Re: What to do for New Year's Eve?

I know, great name eh! We found this place 6 months ago and we head back every couple of months to chill out for the weekend. I'm sure there's loads of similar places but this one ticks all the boxes for us. http://www.lobo.kinemotion.de" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Re: What to do for New Year's Eve?

Is it too late to get away, even if it's just for a couple of days? we've been frequenting Shady Shacks on Bintan quite a lot in the past few months, somewhere like that would be a great place to chill with friends. We're off to Thailand on the 30th, but I've got to work over Xmas and don't fly back...
