Re: UK EXPAT - ELECTORAL REGISTER - HIRE CAR PROBLEM

I agree the trend is making things more difficult however purely from a driving license perspective a) I think you are right it is illegal to be resident at an address that is different from the license but b) the simple answer is take the Singapore driving test. I believe you have to surrender the ...

Re: Help on Driving License - Tickets on Probation

I think you are right. I almost 'took one for the team' when my daughter picked up 3 points in the UK last year but the Police are no longer obliged to send out the photographs of the incident so we didn't risk it.

Of course it is illegal and I would not recommend it.

Re: Condo ideas please help

Re: UK EXPAT - ELECTORAL REGISTER - HIRE CAR PROBLEM

Yes, I think without a residence in the UK and being on the electoral register it's quite tough to do anything these days as an ex pat. In some respects it's quite just. If I don't have a UK residence, I am not on the electoral register and I live abroad why should I be able to rent a car on my UK d...

Re: UK EXPAT - ELECTORAL REGISTER - HIRE CAR PROBLEM

I am not on the electoral register and have been waiting for this to happen. So far it's been fine but my car hire is arranged through the company I work for in the UK. One time the hire company told our office admin person that I needed to provide a UK credit card before they would make the car ava...

Re: Moving to Singapore - Bringing Video Games / BlyRays

When we moved to Singapore I was advised to make a list of all the titles. The freight forwarder said that this would avoid customs commandeering the entire collection to go through them one by one only sending them on several months later. They also advised not shipping any ripped off media only se...

Re: Hair loss treatment

Hair loss is also caused by an excess of testosterone. I recommend castration which not only stops hair loss but will also calm you down and reduce the stress.

I like it, better than sitting on a fence all evening if the neutrals are winners. I don't think my hemorrhoids would stand it

As there are six confirmed attendees I am sure we will finish with a 50/50 split and still not ahve made a decision.

I think we are, as a group, very well suited to governing a country

Re: Question about Fiber installation

Leaving the ONT point installed for the next tenant if the LL has not agreed to have it there permanently may remove a nice chunk of money from your deposit. I would not do it without written permission from the LL. This ^^ I would advise leaving as you found it that is what I intend to do. With re...
