Kinda reminds me of the trip to Sihanoukville some tourists choose to do while the Khmer Rouge were still active, and those tourists were abducted. It was at a time I really wanted to visit the general area including Sihanoukville but heeded the advice not to. Maybe an unfair comparison but would ma...

You mean you actually read all that text? You've got a lot more initiative than me. With posts like that I'm like the Far Side dog where the Master is talking English to the dog, and all the dog hears is "<dog> wah wah wah wah...." like Charlie Brown's teacher's voice. I got some opinionated pontifi...

With an avatar like that your perspective is not surprising. Worse than whatever is in that vid (like MHB I'm not interested in seeing it) was that sick girl who was throwing puppies, also a viral internet thing a few months back. To the point that somewhere someone felt they had to add legislation ...

Un-tagging has always been there, I've done it with some less-than-photogenic shots of me over a year ago the only thing is that photos taken and uploaded by friends can be tagged with your name, and it goes on the wall. So you should be prepared if someone wants to take your photo... especially aft...

What he said, and JR8 SMS, maybe you should give this OP that list, it's all covered and then some People here keep to the left on stairs and escalators, the right are for people to overtake (in a hurry). But this will only happen on stairs and escalators This is so not true, people stand anywhere t...

I'm with nakatago re having a hand in it but that much is completely out of anyone's hands, and with Carlin, just finished his autobiography last week, what a coincidence.

Actually come to think of it, that link is a good example of how other parts of the world effectively use 'swear words'.

Right, interesting to see those stale and inaccurate references to American comedy being slapstick compared with the European always intellectual variety blah blah. As if that was actually ever true. Re the scolding, not sure if this person is confusing the place curse words have in American vernacu...

I have loads of both sides so will (try) to keep it positive. My current RE agent is great, my current travel agent is great. My former RE agents were shysters and recently was fraudulently misled by what looked like a reputable travel agent. My GP knows me well and I trust her (with most things) an...
