basically 744 or the 747 is the jumbo.. new crew are trained only for 777 n 744.. for training of the other aircraft types depends on the teams u are allocated to i dun thk u do 300er only after 9 mths.. i thk after yr business class training then u will be train which will be ard 1 year.. or esle i...

Now even the 'flying mothers' go on long haul flight, they don't just do short turnarounds anymore, I have recently flew with a few mothers on long flights such as zurich, christchurch.. etc they just bring the photos of their children whever they fly ahaha personally I love working with flying mums...

oh icic..that's for existing training right? over the next few years, they should by my belief gradually phase out the current training for these 2 aircaraft types, and slowly introduce more 787s, A350 and A380 training... as those are the new generation of fleet to replace existing and to add upon...
