I wouldn't mind a bit of "pressurisation" as long as its pronounced preSHUR and not preZHUR, which really makes my blood boil. Also, would you orient or orientate yourself in the right direction? And what if you were to use it in a different context? E.g. I wish to get orient(at)ed with that handsom...

I'm sorry but you will all be sorely disappointed, especially if you have been on actual snow. Scratch that; you will be sorely disappointed in any case! Dirty snow (more ice than snow, really), terrible equipment and short slopes simply do not warrant the price they charge. Save your money for an a...

Well I do actually still work long distance on London time, now that you've mentioned it. And thanks for the heads up. I have been trying to push my jogs up earlier but nothing better than sinking into bed freshly exhausted from a run. Also, I take a bit of comfort from the fact that it only made pa...

1) No daily stabbings, muggings ooooh....really a bad time to point that out. #-o Haha.. Touché! Still going for my 2am jog now. Hopefully I don't end up in the news. Can't say I mind the indoor air conditioning though.. I can't count the number of times I have gone running for the shopping centre ...

1) No daily stabbings, muggings, ASBOs clobbering people.. Not in the news anyway but at least I can still be blissfully unaware when I go for my 2am jog. 2) The condominium concept. When we first moved out here, and into one, I was so in awe of how I could "go downstairs" and have a swim, play some...

Ah, that's where the men come in for the dirty work! Anyhow, it's from "Wong Coco" but I've managed to completely miss the logo on this one (red oval with white lettering btw): http://img101.imageshack.us/img101/5751/img00163201006011612.jpg http://img526.imageshack.us/img526/3943/img001612010060115...

Nope I've definitely bought sugar- and preservative-free canned coconut water/juice from cold storage (the one at jelita) before. They're from the same company that does the sugared crap but this one is specifically labelled as "sugar-free". I'll try to get a photo of the drink later tonight when I ...

I've only seen them sold in cans here. Have you tried looking in supermarkets? I've bought them from Cold Storage before and I assume the other supermarkets carry them as well. They're labelled as "coconut juice" so try asking for that instead. I still find fresh out of a husk and into your own bott...

I don't know if the campaign is still running but a few years back the Singapore Tourism Board ran a "postcard project" where they gave out postage-paid airmail-only postcards at the post office (the one at Takashimaya, specifically, but maybe elsewhere as well?). They were your standard cardboard p...

Hilarious thread! 33."You wear winter clothes indoors and summer clothes outdoors" --> So true! Here are mine: - When you start calling everyone uncle or auntie. - When you get used to people correcting your correct pronunciations with mispronunciations: *gets into a taxi* "Uncle, EEkehah (IKEA) ple...
