Re: Working Remotely from Singapore as a Tax Resident - which pass/structure?

Hi SC, Just rereading through one of the links you posted earlier and caught this, didn't see it the first time: A positive point to make is that foreign owners may act as consultants to the LLC under a written Consultant’s agreement completing all consulting work within their home country and bill...

Re: Working Remotely from Singapore as a Tax Resident - which pass/structure?

All very useful to know, especially the working remotely vs. locally tip. Does permission to work for offshore companies also extend to EP holders, or are they not allowed to work in any capacity beyond the terms of their EP employment? Another poster in a different thread making enquiry of MoM on ...

Re: Working Remotely from Singapore as a Tax Resident - which pass/structure?

Adding a few comments as follow on to my long post: Hi all, Preface: A note of general gratitude to this place for existing. Though I just registered an account in order to post this question, I've lurked around for years and the information shared has been invaluable. With that said, even after goi...

Re: Working Remotely from Singapore as a Tax Resident - which pass/structure?

You have multiple situations with which you must deal. First and foremost is your legal residency situation in Singapore. You are going to get whacked sooner or later with your 90 day visa runs, and that is going to permanently alter your plans when you can no longer get back into Singapore. You hav...

Re: Terminate employment contract during bond period

Looks to me that the only way for you to get out of this is to perform so poorly that they decide to terminate you. Just don't show up for work per 10.4 and it looks like they will terminate you. Be absent as much as possible until they do terminate you. Good luck with them trying to collect salary ...

Re: Entry Permit

I don't know if people on this forum are pure ignorant or just stupid. I made a simple post about ENTRY PERMIT but everyone thinks I'm talking about REP. They are NOT the same. More stupidly, people thinks I'm crying over it. Like dude, is this something cry-worthy? I'm just trying to see if anyone...

Re: Entry Permit

Your re-entry permit is always associated with your travel document, ie, your passport. Do you have a passport? Do you not have a REP in it? How do you know you even have a REP? If not, you need to renew your REP or if this is a new passport, you need to transfer your REP. Try the links below, login...

Re: When should I inform my supervisor of my intention to resign?

Both 2a and 2b options are good. That way the management has the ability to direct 100% of the bonus you would have received to the other staff who are staying, thus making them happier. Who cares if you get no bonus, you are leaving anyway. I hope that the Ref is joking or at least speaking with t...

Re: Spass pending for more than 3 weeks

Are you going to be a contract worker as opposed to a full time hire? Are you going to be rented out to another company instead of working exclusively for the company that hired you. If either of the answers to these questions is yes, you may be in for a long, long wait. What kind of "recruitme...

Re: Planning to Apply PR - Experts Please Guide Me

What is your rush? The ICA used to ask for 3 years worth of tax assessments; they don't do that anymore, they just look at IRAS directly. Six months of employment, low salaries, and non-technical jobs... I don't think your chances are very good at all. But, if will only cost you $100 to find out if ...
