Re: Short Term Work/Permits needed?

Because the company hasnt applied for the visa and it does take a fairly long time to get the visa I think conscious that they might not get the EP before the 30days is up (so wanted to know options for it). If you are coming from EU, UK, US, AU, etc, have good credentials, coming in to work for a ...

Re: Electronics In singapore

Consider: They are all made in China, anyway. It's the same brands you find elsewhere. The rents in Singapore are very high, leading to high prices for electronics as well. Unless there is something you just can't find it Oz, I wouldn't call Singapore a destination for electronics shopping.

PNGMK wrote:Not really. You need to sponsor them for an LTVP and I think only PR/SC can do that unfortunately.

As an EP you can sponsor parents on a LTVP but you as the passholder must earn at least $12,000 per month. You cannot combine incomes to meet the $12,000 requirement.

Re: Short Term Work/Permits needed?

Hi All! My question is can you come into Singapore on a visitor pass and then be issued a EP/SP? Do you need to buy an out bound journey or is the one way ticket fine? My friend is currently working with a company based in London, he's heading over to Singapore with his GF in July (yes a in a few w...

Re: Got an offer, EP approved but employment will not commence

Assuming there are no other issues between you, you should try to complain to MOM. It will be difficult to get any compensation or to even get your job back but if MOM receives many complaints of this kind regarding this company, the company's application for passes will be scrutinized or rejected ...

Not correct. S Pass holders can also get a DP, if their salary is at least $6000 per month.

Re: Please advice: LTVP or DP? Where to marry?

Many thanks L. In the worst case scenario that we don't get it is LTVP easier to get? I need a backup plan for a piece of mind. LTVP is only for common law spouse (which you cannot get). DP is only for legally married spouse and dependent children. There is no either/or for you or anyone else, that...

Now you have tossed another element into the equation: “The Singapore company that I will be freelancing for will sign a contract with the foreign corporation.” To date, you have referred to: ⋅ A foreign company that you are going to create ⋅ A local company that you are actually...
