Re: Unable To Print

Hello everyone. I hope you're all well. Guys, I've been having a problem for the past few days. The notice "This document could not be printed" appears whenever I try to print a PDF file with Adobe Reader. I'm looking for your advice because I'm absolutely a novice in this area. Hey, "Danielclinger...

Tell me, why are you posting from Mohali, India to an expat board in Singapore, asking about your wifi connection?

Are you two sock puppet clowns having fun? You're one and the same person, posting from an identical IP address. Your advertising has been deleted. Do it some more and your account will be locked.

I have a small capital and I also thought about opening a small business. It's much easier to do this online these days. But where should I start?
Strange that you would be posting this question on a Singapore expat board when you are in Manchester, England.

Re: VPN Recommendation

Hi Guys, I am looking to get a VPN so I can visit sites that don’t allow me to from the UK. I am looking for a decent priced VPN however, I tried one and it worked for a couple of days but then it started to get slow so I discontinued my subscription with them. I apologize if links like this are no...

Re: Is it possible to work remotely for US company for a few months?

The MoM is very efficient! Thank you for your online enquiry on 28 January 2021. A Letter of Consent (LOC) will not be required when: 1) A Dependant's Pass (DP) holder is working for an overseas company from home; and 2) The overseas company has no local presence; and 3) The DP holder is not meetin...

Re: New Business - questions

Thanks for your reply. Your posts have been really helpful. We are certainly not trying to gain an EP / scamming the system. I have been running a successful ltd company in London providing branding consultancy for the past 3 years, so know i have a viable business (and accounts to show) which I am...

Re: Consulting on Dependent Pass ?

Same situation for my wife, works for a global pharmas research division, will like to continue working for same company remotely while she finds a new job in SG. Can she work on DP remotely, or will this require an EP/LOC? her company has a local office that sells their products in SG, but she's w...

Also required to pay Singapore taxes on income earned while resident in Singapore. Of course, they will never know if you don't report, but that is the law. You file as an unregistered sole proprietor on what is basically a 5 line form.

Re: New Business - questions

Mostly answered in another thread. Be aware that you may have a challenge on gaining an EP for your partner. Literally thousands of scammers have tried to form companies, then apply for an EP for themselves, in order to backdoor their way into the country. Most of these people immediately shoot them...

Re: Company Director and tax residence

As long as you have a permanent residence in Singapore, you can travel all you want. You're still resident for tax purposes. The EP, as PNGMK noted, confirms this.

Re: EP with goal of PR - Dual Nationality Question

My ultimate goal is to become a SG PR... Bzzzzt. Wrong goal... at least in the eyes of the gahmen. Historical details: I hold Canadian citizenship by birth, UK citizenship by right of descent, and US citizenship by naturalization. I've lived in the USA since I was 15, and I am an American in life a...

Ahhh... eren_jaeger... aggressive, argumentative, inaccurate, never admits wrong... and adds nothing of substance to the forum. The mods have been through hundreds of folks like you.

I know you'll want the last word... so have at it. I'm done. Out.
