Local Magnolia has coconut-yam ice cream. Not as good as what we have back home but it'll have to do. I'm still figuring out how I can just make quezo real ice cream instead but the local ice creams don't have the right texture or consistency. Well, just buy an ice cream maker and make your own ice...

Somewhere in the Human Rights law, it states, ID Card means you loose your right to privacy .. :D Hmm, well you would worry about if you're doing something wrong then you want the info' to be private. They can make the ID free, isn't it free in SG? They can't even speak coherently... How did it com...

Just back from the UK and got me couple of slabs of Yorkshire Parkin. :) Was surprised to find it in the Supermarket as I thought it was only made around "Bonfire Night". Wow, haven't had Yorkshire Parkin in ages!! I love them but pity am allergic to ginger so can't have too many too soon...

Now this is my kinda topic. My favourite cakes are pandan chiffon cakes and NY style cheesecake. I really don't understand the big deal with ID cards.

I actually like Singapore's draconian laws...'If you do the crime ,do the time' in the West it seems the criminals have the upper hand.

In Norway they even have island 'holiday' prisons where convicted murderers, rapists etc live in luxury and with no supervision except for a prison warden!

hey macaroonie, I don't think this is just a big city thing or Singapore thing but happens when one get stuck in their daily routines without appreciating what they have.
