Rem to burn the chinese dictionary and drink the ashes... hey Ivanz, dun be sad... ur interview was on the 20th oct right? so u are nt out yet.... i think BA is only informing the applicants who came for the 1st round on the 1...

guess most of the applicants got the call from BA today.... 2 of my friends got the call...

guess i am out. i had my 1st rd on the 19th in the early morning. n two of the friends have theirs on the 19th afternoon..

no chance for me... :(

it was tough for me, esp. the translation part.... i was so nervous...

is there anyone going for the BA interview is currently a cabin crew or a ex-cabin crew? just curious.... :) cos i wonder if BA only takes in current crew and ex-crews, because they have the flying experiences and know more about the technical stuffs. i remembered the last time UA recruit cabin crew...

hi! my interview is on the 19th 12noon.

dumbghost, no worries.. think u are not the 1st group.there sld be a group at 10am right?

i am just so worried abt the chinese thingy....duno what they want us to translate n read.

the ad for silkair recruitment is out in the newspaper, it is in classified. check out the papers.

walk -in date: 18th and 19th aug at marina mandarin hotel from 9am to 430pm

hmm... maybe i kinda of wrote wrongly. well, the instructor of course will not teach you how to swim on the spot. and of course, we have lifevest on. so he just told/instructed the non-swimmers how to paddle across the pool by using the legs n hands. it is not stated in the SIA recruitment recruitme...

erhmmm.... erh.... well, i am not trying to join in the arguements. but SIA do take in crew who do not know how to swim. before the swim test, the instructor/lifeguard at the pool will ask who do not know how to swim and do not lie. some girls raised their hands, and the person will spend a bit more...

haha... yup, they are doing mass recruitment, so much more easier to get in compared to normal recruitment.

lots of emirates n jal crews went to the interviews too, guess they will have a much higher chance to get in than pp with no flying experiences.

a lot of pp make it thru to the swim test. guess SIA is very lenient this time round. lots of girls make it to the kebaya round and very very few were booted out during kebaya round this time round. in some groups, there were 0% elimination from the kebaya rounds at all. all got in to the next round...

Hi Biscotti_girl and serembanboy, my interview is later at 1515 hrs! haha I'm now in office waiting to knock off (5 mins later)... because my boss only approved 1/2 day for my leave when i applied for 1!!!
