Re: Selling Advice

Thanks for the advice. Interestingly I have now had a few people willing to pay in full for the bike but want me to leave the bike in my name!

Selling Advice

Hi,
I am selling my motorbike and its advertised across a number of sites. I have received some offers but keep getting asked if the buyer can pay by instalments. Is this a common thing in Singapore and if so is there a way to safe guard that you will receive all payments? Thanks for any advice.

Helper Bullying

Our helper has been with us for the last 5 years and is very much part of the family. We have lived in the same condo for the last 4 years and she has made many friends here. However, in the last few weeks a dispute with another helper (the details of which appear to be quite minor and fault lies on...

Re: Selling Motorbike

I haven't found any that are the same year and specs. I can make a rough estimate but just wondered if there is another way.

Selling Motorbike

Hi, I'm looking at selling my motorbike but struggling to find some way of determining the value of the bike. I looked at some sites that sell used bikes and once they are sold the price is removed so I can't see what they go for. Can anyone suggest the best way to determine the sale price of a bike...

Re: Accident liability

Strong Eagle, fair enough, I fu*ked up. I'm a relatively new rider and am a very cautious rider especially after seeing the driving standards in Singapore. I got so fed up I bought a camera because of the near daily stupidity I witness on the roads and wanted some level of protection. With regards t...

Re: Accident liability

Under Strong Eagles picture it says Moderator which is why I assumed as such. I'll focus on the other comments which have been useful and will put it down to banter which is as you say part of the appeal of this site. Cheers.

Re: Accident liability

Thanks X9200. That makes sense. A security guard was witness to it happening and took down a report but I will speak with the management office as well. I agree, in the wet the car park is like an ice rink and the ramp down into it is very bad as water runs down it in streams !

Re: Accident liability

Actually, having watched the cam footage, its very clear that the oil is not visible. In any case, good to see that a Moderator is abiding by the rules set down by the forum:

Insulting other users in any way, shape or form will get your message moved to Rubbish

Re: Accident liability

Thanks for you input however I don't see the need for the abuse. I was looking for informed, friendly advice and not to be called a 'dumbass'.

Accident liability

Hi All, I would appreciate if anyone has any experience of this situation. I was riding my motorbike in the basement carpark of the condo and unfortunately took a fall. It turns out that there was a spillage of lubricant of some sort on the floor which caused me to slide and fall. I was just wonderi...

In the previous tennancy agreements I have had, I have never had to sign something like this. I understand the reasoning of course and I will have to work out something in the end but its just that I won't be able to pay as yet.

Agent Fee - Diplomatic Clause

Hi, I would appreciate your advice on the following please. I have recently terminated my lease early due to loss of employment and have used the diplomatic clause. At the time of signing the lease the Agent required us to sign a document saying that if we terminiated early then I would have to pay ...

New Maid Interviews

Hi All, I would appreciate your advise on how to conduct the interviews for a domestic helper. We are going to be provided with a number of CV's and then we can interview face to face as well. Are there any particular questions that you have asked that would be useful ? We are going to ask questions...

I've tried six different companies now and they all have 'manpower' issues and are not taking on new clients ! Didn't realise it would be this difficult.
