Re: Moving jobs on EP

I am on an EP @sundaymorningstaple My concern is regarding whether MOM will treat my case to file a new EP( from the new offer) any differently if my current EP is cancelled before I get the new IPA ? Why it should be any different? What's going on with you (leaving aside any potential turbulence w...

for example

abc@yahoo.com sends email to xyz@hotmail.com

Can abc@yahoo.com determine if the email has been opened/read by xyz@hotmail.com?
You mean like to be certain? Nope, no way.

Re: Insects in Apartment / Condo

Thanks a lot for ur answer. Can i ask you which area your are living? Maybe another question: how can i imagine the size of a gecko which u see every day. Is it a small one like this always: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ydZK8e_rMaU ? Bukit Batok, but don't count on it as the place particularly i...

Re: Insects in Apartment / Condo

One more thing - geckos are not like intrusive or something. They won't normally crawl out at you or something. You either have to notice them at the background or catch them inexpecting, eg. by entering kitchen at night or early morning.

Re: Insects in Apartment / Condo

It is sort of like with spiders in Europe but I would disagree you see them twice a year. Perhaps you just don't notice? To give you some specific example, I live on a 25th floor, condo, and I see them in average every day. Most time in the kitchen and living room, sometimes late evening crawling ou...

Re: Pre-marriage LTVP (Female SC+Nepali)

You would need to contact the Nepalese Embassy or the Nepalese Immigration authority to enquire on the options for something like that. I'm pretty sure there is a way, provided you could meet the qualifications required. Every country is different in that respect. It would appear that you can live ...

Re: Special needs children in Singapore

My family is considering moving to Hong Kong or Singapore for work reasons but I have a 3.5year old son with Autism. We also suspect he may also have ADHD (we were told to reassess after he's of school age). My son does not have a severe case but I am very nervous about school placement as well as ...

Re: Dishonesty: Please help

In April, my partner found a phone left behind by someone. Immediately he chased after the man but he lost sight of him. He even returned to the same spot for quite a while to see if anyone was looking panic or anxious. As it was late, he brought home the phone intending to return to npp soon. But ...

Re: House rental issues

Firstly, your main potential concern would be if your TA missed a clause saying that the sell is subject to this TA and the LL has rights to terminate the TA because of the sell. If the clause is there you can live in the apartment for the rest of the TA term. Secondly, set the visits the way they ...

Re: Shop theft for 3rd time

I am under the impression the situation for the cash cards theft improved over last decade. I lost a number of them taken from my motorbike but not in recent years. But perhaps my parking areas changed. I no longer frequent SLS and such.
