Re: going to default NS due to a change in plans

....and my parents would migrate with me (both of them are aus citizens as well). After you hopefully settle down in Australia, are you going to burn your passport or just travel to NZ/US only? OP is PR. :) I know, I know. What I mean, Australia is probably not the most convenient location to defau...

Re: Work options for foreign part-time student

Ecu, was not that bad and it was well paid (as for the student's pocket). Bilge, I mean, the place at the very bottom of the ship but it was not like tanks (ballast), pretty open area, When they build the ship all sort of rubbish, pieces of electrical cables, welding electrodes, smaller pieces of me...

Re: Work options for foreign part-time student

Wait...if getting an EP is that hard, how can expats find jobs in Singapore after completing their Master ? Even if the gov would look more favorably* at the foreigners graduated from the local schools, you are not even there yet. Nothing wrong in working as a waiter or doing other low skill jobs. ...

Re: Kim Jong Un - Certainly looking for attention!

It's not a cry for attention, but for understanding, that he already has enough of poop to make anybody who would like to remove him, stink. Besides, probably the major problem is not with removing him, but with changing the military balance in the area. If it happens, and the removing hand is of th...

Re: I want to stay in Singapore with my family!! :(

Tofumilk, take also this into account: Why the reasons you mentioned to travel to Singapore are rational, this doesn't mean they are going to influence the ICA's decision whatever this decision is. Rational - has some common sense/logic in it. As an adult and in some cases even as a child, you don't...

Re: I want to stay in Singapore with my family!! :(

Thank you for your responses! My friend just got back to me and said he had similar experiences and similar reasons like mine and ICA was completely okay with it. He made a total of 4-5 visa runs if i am not wrong. Thanks for helping! Good night you all :-) You know what is the risk, whether it is ...

Re: I want to stay in Singapore with my family!! :(

I am afraid you are out of options.

Your only choice is the short term visit pass (so a tourist visa) and I reckon you probably already exhausted the visa run capacity.

You don't have father living long term in Singapore, so basically your mother has her LTVP because of her studying children?

What is the immigration status of your mother and further? Both of them on LTVP? AFAIK, that hardly possible. How old are you?

Re: The Most Frightening Places to Visit in Singapore

Rayne, you forgot to add Braddell MRT to the haunted list. There has even been 'encounters' claimed within the station late at night when it first opened. Bishan too was a large cemetery before the dead were relocated :) And I believe Bukit Brown still is despite the road works that cut down its la...
