Re: Driving SG registered car in Malaysia

This a bit odd feeling when you (almost) see less Malaysian motorbikes in Malaysia than every day in Singapore. Anyway, after my first longer self-drive trip to Malaysia with well over 800km counted including rush hours in KL, I don't see anything particularly bad about Malaysian drivers that their ...

Re: Tenant breaking contract - my options

My tenant(sad to say another sub-continental) is breaking the 2 year lease with 11 months remaining. He is not moving out of Singapore and is ready to forfeit his 2 month deposit. There has been no acrimony between us and the property is a brand new condo unit, so he can't complain of any defects/i...

Re: Any Eagles up for a gathering in October?

If not that guy: who actually didn't confirm he was joining, I would end up there alone. Thanks man and thanks for your company. As much as I understand some reasons I think there should be a mechanism to pass the message. Myself, I have more misses than hits but if I say I am coming and it happens ...

Are your kids on LTVP for the reason you never applied for PR for them? I have two daughters and a son. I applied PR for them. But rejected. That sucks. You have done...

Re: Recommendations for Property Agents

I found it here: https://www.cea.gov.sg/docs/default-source/module/newsletter/1-2017/dos-and-donts-on-co-broking.html If you are representing the seller, you should not deny co-broking opportunities to other agents. And there is the problem with a lot of Singapore Laws/guidelines. Read the statemen...

Re: Two Honda bikes

My current ride is Piaggio X9. I like it very much and initially I considered Burgman 650 as the replacement, but I feel I would like to switch to a regular bike. Could be the middle age crisis.

Re: Two Honda bikes

Africa is nice, I agree, but it's 30% more expensive comparing to NC750X. If I had to pay that much, I would probably follow my initial plan and buy FJR1300, not a new one (can not afford with the current arf/coe), but a 2-4y old. I consider NC750X for what Taxico mentioned: riding position and inte...

Re: Dhoby Gaunt Station

Phpbb. Its based on sql and there is no problem to extract individual records from a backed up, full copy file. I would think the main challenge was to identify what went missing (and why it disappeared). No virtual machine and some high level tools for selective extraction are going to help with it.

Time to virtualise the server ?

So you can do granular restore ..

How would this help in this specific issue?
