Employment Pass: How long to find a new job if lose old one?

Hello everyone,

I was wondering if anybody knew the regulations regarding how long foreigners are allowed to stay in Singapore looking for a new job in the case of a company they work for going under?

Thank you all very much.

Cool, thanks for the recommendations. Any tips where I can buy a good indoor/outdoor basketball here? I hit up some Addidas and Nike stores but they only have soccer / track stuff...

Will the league have a fee ChrisB?

Thank you once again for the information.

Thanks for the reply guys. I will check out some foreign supermarkets to check out the costs for this. As there is dryer readily available, I would like to save some time from hanging up my clothes and stuff. Thanks again.

Softener for Dryer (Laundry Question!)

Hello everyone, was wondering where I can get softeners (the American style ones like in a tissue box style, with sheets of softener you can pull out) here in Singapore. I just checked out the NTUC stores and could not find any. Also tried some other super markets and have no luck so far. Any ideas?...

What if I've been dating the girl for 3 years, and just got to Singapore but we never entered a de-facto relationship? I think this problem on top of the fact that we are of different nationalities pretty much makes the situation hopeless. Guess I'm screwed regardless, but I'll call ICA and figure i...

Visit Pass : Visitor Seeking Employment in Singapore (LT)

Hello, was wondering how difficult it is for a Chinese national to obtain a Visitor Seeking Employment in Singapore (Long Term) if I am sponsoring them as a PR.

What are some of the primary criterias that are required? Thanks for all the help.

Does it matter if the nationalities of your boyfriend/girlfriend differs from yours? I am an American and my...

Company CPF Contribution for Non PR Foreigner

Hello everyone, to my knowledge, foreign workers on Employment Passes are not enrolled into CPF program. I was wondering under this situation, does the company pay you in cash the contribution they would have put into your CPF account? I have heard from a local friend that this is possible. Please c...
