Re: PR Approval Probability 2021

I just hit my 6 month mark in SG. I know my chance is pretty slim. Is it even worth trying to apply for pr? Like a 5% chance? Current Profile: • Age: 31 • Race: Chinese • Gender: Male • Marital Status: Single • Education: Top university in the US • Industry: Big tech • Position: Software engineer •...

Re: PR Approval Probability 2021

Hi, appreciate if anyone can assess my chances of getting PR. Age-30, studied and graduated with a bachelor in IT from a Singapore private school. Started working as a software developer in SG since 2014, currently in a senior engineer role (S$85K annual salary), holding EP. I've been living in SG ...

Perhaps one of those cases where the phone is funky? Recall seeing someone else have this experience on another thread- been in SG for sometime but address still reads as an overseas one.
Only if they access via a VPN with a foreign IP.

Re: PR application - address

Hi all, I own a small business and my company is registered under the address where I'm currently living at. I was wondering whether writing the same address as "Home address" and "Company address" in the PR application could cause any issues? Is anyone familiar with the situation? Would appreciate...

Re: Current PR Application - New Job + EP

Hi everyone, I have had a PR application active (Pending) for the last 13 months. I am in the process of getting a new EP for a new job. Do I send in the documentation to ica_PR@ica.gov.sg? What documentation do I need to send into ICA? Is it a scanned copy of my new EP? How do I provide them infor...

Re: Remote working situation for dependent pass holders

For anyone wondering - I called MoM and they said this situation is acceptable, as long as we pay the taxes due in Singapore. Also make sure the dependent pass holder's job does not interfere with local business at all - not meeting clients, not signing contracts in SG. Better to get this in writin...

Don’t see why this would be an issue. If his work is based in the US and he’s paying US taxes, there should be no problem with him staying here and working remotely.
On A DP - you are not allowed to work. Not sure if remote work will violate this.

Re: PR Approval Probability 2021

In 40 years I've not heard of an appeal working. However, I've heard of appeals failing and subsequently applying 2 years later and being approved. [I'm one of them] Well then it wouldn’t be considered an appeal anymore, would it? Just a failed appeal and subsequent application success. it is a sub...

Re: PR Approval Probability 2021

Hello again, Question - if we have a change in circumstances i.e. job going from S-Pass to EP, how do we inform ICA about the change? Phone? Email? Should we wait till we receive the first month's pay slip from the new company? Or is the IPA sufficient? Thanks, Sze Better after the pass is issued. ...

Thank you for your responses. I should have clarified: I already wrote three emails to the email address they listed, but they never responded. (I wrote them from two separate accounts in case one of the email addresses did not get through..)
They are overloaded and take sometime to reply.

Re: Delayed immunisation verification / calling HPB hotline from abroad

Hi all, I have submitted an application for a immunisation verification for our child on 7 December 2021 and am still waiting for an approval. This is way beyond the max. 20 working days that the HPB advertises on the website. 1) Has anyone had their immunisation verification approved recently? How...

Re: PR Approval Probability 2021

you have to send in a physical appeal letter. Believe that is the current process or at least what I have heard from multiple PR consultants. It can be either electronic or physical. What matters is the content if it is really valid to turn the decision. In most cases, appeals fail Any idea of appe...
