I use SingTel's 10 MB plan that costs a buck, lasts seven days, and rolls over remaining value.

Very happy with the coverage, whether in the MRT or in the basement of a building.

You may also want to register for Wireless@SGx. This way you'll have coverage using one or the other.

What I have observed in my short time here is that if you are a single guy and live clean and sober, and you live near your job, you need at the most SGD 1500 to live off of. The rest is your savings. Do the math!:)
