Thanks for the responses I have talked out of doing the JB or Batam run. Childcare here is an excellent standard and very cheap compared to Australia and I have my child in Cherie Hearts Harbourfront and its fantastic. I have heard of a few that are not so good. My wife just got sacked because she was pregnant, wasnt given a bonus because she was white, they then extended her notice period because they couldnt find anyone and when she took 3 days sick leave last week to look after our child, she was effectively re-sacked immediately. :x Singapore :roll:
