Some of my favourite Thai restaurants are Bali Thai and Thanying. Although i havent set foot in thanying for almost 10 years but I did find theirs very authentic. There was one in Funan before the renovation which was darn good, but I could not remember its name and not sure if they are still in bus...

I believe cosy corner is that famous popiah place on the 2nd floor of Coronation Plaza? They have one of the best popiah in Singapore, my wife often picks those up for us. The popiah on the 3rd floor is even better..and cheaper, cosy charges like $2.50 but the competitor upstairs charges like $1.80...

I think durians are quite an acquired taste, and people either love or hate it. But it's quite pricey considering the shells are weighed as well when you buy.

Yup.. Quite incovenient not to be able to eat out especially when am in between appointments and meetings, and hv some time to spare, theres no place to sit let alone eat or have a cuppa.

I think they are opening up slowly as the cases are reduced and unlinked cases lesser as well.

Yes usually owners will request higher rent for short terms ie: 3 months - 12 months..
Many owners are also not so keen even for 1-year.
