From what I know, Starhub customer service is terrible... never quite possible to talk to someone.

wow..have to really check the expiry dates now and mark the calendars. Same goes for local passports, don't seem to issue notification letters for renewal anymore.

If your hubby is Singaporean I would think you might stand a good chance, albeit the almost 2 year wait.
