Re: Childcare Pre-school Requirements
I believe they need a valid pass to enrol your child. Perhaps you can check with your school you've selected and see if they can provide some room for the enrolment.

Re: Affordable Preschool For A Foreigner
I think preschools are very expensive even for the locals. They are usually above $1,000 a month per child. I think at this day is probably looking at $1500-$2000 per month.

House moving quotations
Is it common to find local movers under quoting on their quotes to get the business and later tell you it's actually costing more on the day of move? I was quoted for about 5 trucks but my last move was about 10-12 trucks. This disparity puzzles me on the huge difference in truck load...are they goi...

Online grocery
Which online supermarkets do you buy from and would think their prices are reasonable?
I would buy from Redmart but recently had been finding their items relatively expensive, like fruits and vegetables.

Re: Couple that ran off with $32m
Apparently, it seems like their scams works on selling watch to clients, normal rolexes and sorts. Then they build their trust with these customers since they have dealt and received their goods, by lavishing them with meals and invites to their home and treating the customers like their 'friends'. ...

Re: Can agent represent tenant and landlord?
Agent should only represent one side, and shouldn't switch sides. He shouldn't be protecting you one day 1 and later changed to protecting the owner. The representation will then be very blurry especially if a problem pops up and you see him taking sides with the owner. I think you should have a wor...

Re: Primary 1 registration exercises - game changer
Yes precisely, with the merging of 2A, seems like teachers with children are at a disadvantage..their children might not get in the school they teach. Phase 2A has really changed a lot in the last 1-2 years. Notably this year..I think many would also be staying within 1 km of the school which would ...

Primary 1 registration exercises - game changer
A lot has changed over the last 10 years on subscription rates and chances of getting in..of cos with some tweaking of exercise criteria by MOE as well. The most recent 2022 registration exercise is quite a game changer, Phase 2A and 2B already sees so many schools balloting, so it's no longer how c...

Re: Couple that ran off with $32m
Total agree, how could one live without an ID and be able to also walk normally on the street and lead a normal life. It's really just a matter of time they get caught. But in the first place, how could driver be caught but not the fugitives...

Re: Couple that ran off with $32m
I'm not sure they can sleep well at night having to fear everyday of being caught. I'm sure they would be recognized in the streets quite easily. Yup money probably transferred all over the place but maybe they might get frozen soon. The lady has similar case in Thailand in 2019, probably let off qu...

Anyone owns an electric car ?
Would like to hear your experience and how it was compared to your petrol car before ie: maintenance, costs..? Petrol cost is rising indefinitely..
