Re: waiting for PR application for newborn - short term visit pass extension declined

Hi wwww, Thank you for the prompt reply. My wife is still on LTVP (PR rejected 3 times). I wonder will it be possible (and better) to apply PR for her (4th time) in the same application. This is because I realise there is a portion in Form 4 requiring details of applicant's parents and asking wheth...

Re: waiting for PR application for newborn - short term visit pass extension declined

Hi wwww, I am Singapore PR and we are also expecting a baby in the next few months. Can you share what is the process to apply PR for newborn? Thank you. You need to apply for your newborn's passport asap. Once you receive it you just complete the usual PR application form (form 4 if I remember rig...

Re: RE: Re: Conversion of foreign driving licenses for PR

I recently converted my license after being PR for nearly 5 years. It is incorrect that you have to convert within 3 months of receiving your PR to convert only with BTT , even though SPF's website says so. I checked directly with SPF and was told that it is still possible as long as you already ha...

Re: waiting for PR application for newborn - short term visit pass extension declined

Really? And what if it is going to take half a year to get the PR? What if she never gets it? What if she is refused the next entry to Singapore back from your trip? Your current problems are also related to this failure but ultimately these are your problems. We did exactly the same for our first ...

Re: waiting for PR application for newborn - short term visit pass extension declined

Me, my wife and my son we are all PR. Our daughter was born in Singapore last November. We also applied for a PR for her. We were issued a short term visit pass for our daughter which expires after three months. I just applied for an extension of the short term visit pass for her online through e-x...

Re: waiting for PR application for newborn - short term visit pass extension declined

on second thought, I may have misread the handwritten DE number on the immigration card given to me by the officer. Is it possible that they simply decline the application if the data is incorrect? :)

Thanks SMS.

According to my and my wife's 2014 tax statements, we made roughly 200k together. So this should hopefully not be an issue...

Re:

PR approval is not a mere formality for children of some PRs. PR rejection rates of children are high for certain nationalities (based on my experience and other anecdotal evidence). You can still apply and see for yourself. I was skirting THAT issue as the OP had not volunteered their nationality....

He can legally rent it to you if he registers the contract with URA (there will be tax implications) and if the duration is at least six months.

PR application for newborn - walk-in possible?

Hi, We are getting ready to submit the PR application for our newborn. After some clarification mails with ICA they have just created additional confusion: In an email to me they stated the following: "The parents can walk-in during our office hours (Mondays to Fridays from 8am - 4.30pm) to Permanen...
