Hi Luisa,

Do you have your own bicycle? If not, you can rent one at parks like the Pasir Ris Park. It's also a nice place to cycle for leisure..

I would also recommend Pulau Ubin especially if you're into dirt roads. =)

It's just a shame that newspapers here don't expound or give more details about murder and homicide cases. They usually just say the who's, where's, when's and what's and that's it. Would be more informative to know more about the police's speculations and evidences found.

I don't know how useful this suggestion would be to you, but how about asking someone you like or at least someone interesting for a date? Doesn't have to turn out to be a romantic date. It's just that sometimes it's also nice to get to know someone as a friend without any expectations afterwards. M...

I also noticed the 'murder' spree this past two weeks. I also noticed that here in Singapore, the killing incidents usually occur at their homes and the people involved are usually close to the victims.

I'd like to join you in bowling. I'm not an expert or a frequent player though, so my hits are pretty low. I would like to play for fun. Contact me when you have a date. =)

It's a shame I missed this; just saw the topic. Are there actually bagpipe players in Singapore? Yup; they came in just after the Imperial Storm Troopers (I ain't kidding). I did notice that only a few of the dudes had the courage to wear kilts. I made sure I had my photo taken with those Storm Tro...

Getting to know thee is not as easy as 123

I noticed that there are a lot of group meets in this forum and it's nice that people are interested to hang out with one another. But for a person like me, I find it awkward to be in a large group of strangers. I'm a shy person and it's not easy for me to be the 'life of the party' right away - if ...

Why don't you try this place?

RELC Language Teaching Institute
30 Orange Grove Road
Tel: 6885 7862
http://www.relc.org.sg

I'm not really sure on their Mandarin curriculum but RELC is a reputable name when it comes to training teachers so it might not be so bad. =)

Good luck!
