batam visa fee, still forcing $25

When i went to batam for a day in 2010, as a US passport holder they would only let me do a 30 day US$25 visa in Batam (although indonesia has a 7 day, $10 visa)

Are they still pulling this swindle?

That's genius man. Use it indoors with the windows shut, then your neighbours will have nothing to complain about!

Yep, you won't be doing it a 2nd time:

Construction site- possible to search for building type?

Got something going on on the plot in front of me. Is there anyway to search online to find out what they are gonna build, when they will start each part, and completion date?
(theres probably something written on the site, but I'm feeling lazy)

Thanks,

David

Back in January I had my first renewal as well, and was sent the new forms, even though I was under the old system. Took a few calls to make sure I was under the old system, and exactly what info was required under that. I didnt' hire any employees (outsourcing instead), but did show a profit. Was r...

Contact etrade in singapore- your Sing corp can have a US brokerage account to/from which you can transfer US$, just like a bank account.
Dont contact etrade US- they will screw this up and give you false info.

They said I would receive a notice letting me know i needed to file. http://www.i...

Director Fee vs. Salary

I am the director of my private limited, but also an employee. As the director, personal taxes are 20%, but on salary, much lower. What fee is required to be paid to the director? I asked this at a recent corporate tax seminar held by IRAS, but they couldnt give me a definitive answer beyond, "...
