Don't know where you are from, but you have to realise most shops do not have "european size" matresses, except custom made!

Idf possible I would bring your matress from your home-country, if you have a european-sized bed!

dreadlocks

Does anyone know a place in Singapore where they do dreadlocks? I have wanted them for years, and decided to go for it, but I don't know anything about prices, or where to go.

Help wanted!

Hi,
me and my daughter (16 months) would love to have a get-together with other mums/dads and children!
We have been in Singapore for about 4 months now, just starting to really settle in. We moved here from the Netherlands.

(I've been looking for a good excuse to buy that Hurdy Gurdy; so this might be just the thing to convince my wife that it's really no problem to play Hurdy Gurdy in a Condo :).) His wife somehow still thinks it might not be a very good idea to buy one.:D Though it would be nice to irritate the neig...

on second thought: maybe 9:30 is not a very good idea, if your daughter has to take a nap at 10:00, Catherine. And I think I want to do some (neglected  )housekeeping in the morning. So maybe we should meet at botanical gardens around 1:00 pm? Shame Diana can't make it then though :( edit: I j...

Johanna also needs to sleep around those same times, but if she skips her morning-nap, she does a noon-nap at about 12, 12:30.
I don't know if its convenient for you to go to Diana's in the morning? Or else we could meet at botanic gardens around noon?

Catherine, I misread your post: I thought you said the only day you COULD make it was friday! I'm also free on thursay, so if that suits you better, that's ok with me. Any ideas about what time you would like to meet?

Diana, can you also come on a playdate-with-kids on thursday?

Hi kukee,
You could join us at mondaynight (dec. 1) for drinks and dinner, there will at least be 2 dutch-speaking ladies there (hi Diana :D ), and then see how it goes from there?
Do you already speak any Dutch, or none at all?

We could do dinner in that nice food-court at central, to keep the costs down next monday?

Fiday would be nice, 9:30 at he gate to childrens garden? Or is a later time better for you? I think Diana can't make it then, or am I mistaken? Diana?

I had a nice morning, shame the childrens garden was closed! Maybe we can try again later this week? I'm free from wednessday 'till friday, so pick a day :D That fever ending in a rash sound a bit like what Johanna had about 2 weeks ago: 3 days of fairly high fever, red rash all over her body for a ...
