Two different leases later (each was two years), being a good tenant, asking for zero repairs gets you nowhere! So now we are locked in for 3 years and yes it is a disgrace that you can't take up your issues nowhere and landlords can pretty much screw the tenant.

I've seen Baby Bliss in Far East Plaza but it was something crazy like 120 dollars!!! Better luck try on ebay or if you have a friend travelling to get you one overseas.

There are lots of small parlours along Serangoon Rd Little India, near Tekka market where I've gone for full leg waxing $30, that is reasonable and good table manners. I like Strip Wax - depends on which outlet you go and if you get a package, never disliked their service just can't stand that they ...

I have bought Western size bathing costumes from a place called Belicious in the east coast, (find them on FB) 33 Greenfield Drive, Singapore, 457939. Definitely give this brand a try. Sometimes you might get lucky and find a sale in Tanglin but the prices at the swim shop there on b1 are ridiculous...

I also went to the Bukit Timah plaza stylist Jane for a brazilian blowout and HIGHLY recommend the salon. She uses a good reputable product unlike the other salons in Singapore which use rebond and sell it like it is a brazilian blowout.

I'd definitely ship electronics from UK, we recently were looking for a good Dyson vaccuum cleaner and here in Singapore it costs DOUBLE than what it costs at Dixon in England. True story.
