Yes, Unfortunately I am getting old.
But not too old to learn. There is always someone with more experience and of a higher position I hope to learn from.

Maybe Mentor is not what I need. Maybe it is just better networking

Finding career mentors

Hi, Does anyone have any good suggestions on how or where to network, and to business leaders and successful people who might be willing to mentor ? I have read a lot about the benefits of finding a good career mentor. Someone who can share their stories of their experiences, give guidance and advic...

I'm doing parkour. The conditioning can be a killer if the coach feels like torturing us  Jumping and climbing around the urban jungle that is Singapore is quite fun. Where and when can one try this ? This is something that I think looks really cool. But I worry I might be way too old for ...

Re: Advice for someone clueless and heading to Singapore

Thanks, this is useful to know. A little planning would have saved us a lot of money. This is the important one for me. Usually during all the rush of relocation, we never have the time to think, let alone plan. I really worry about costly mistakes (in addition to the potential overall mistake of de...

Advice for someone clueless and heading to Singapore

Sorry for the extremely vague question, I am trying to generate ideas of topics I need to be thinking of. I need answer whilst at the moment I don't even know the questions yet. I am moving to Singapore. The opportunity came up last week, which I jumped at, and will likely to be in Singapore within ...

Exit Strategy

Ok, I appreciate that does who successfully manage to get out of Singapore may no longer be posting on this forum - and that this post may be on the wrong message board for which I appologise in advance. On leaving Singapore, does anyone have any advice on: 1. How to settle my taxation which is curr...
