Re: PR application still pending. applied June 2018

So what might be the reason that the application take so long to release unlike others who got their results in 6 months or less and got rejected. You will be in a different pot from those who have been here a short time , who are married and who are kids etc etc Every application is done on its me...

Re: NEED ONWARD TICKET (SINGAPORE)?

My daughter flew in on a British passport with no onward ticket and no issues. She left and entered Sg several times in a 7 week period before finally picking up a cheap flight to Europe. I suspect a lot to do with nationality and maybe attitude/appearance. She must have given address or something ...

Re: NEED ONWARD TICKET (SINGAPORE)?

Is onward ticket required when arriving in Singapore by air? If yes, then does this rule apply irrespective of nationality? Will the departure airport staff (at check in) forbid you to fly to Singapore if don't have onward ticket? Different countries have different rules? Anyone been asked by immig...

Re: Health insurance for expat from UK

Hi Everyone I'd like some guidance on what a 23 year old male coming from the UK for 1-2 years work would need in terms of health insurance. No current health issues but would like to have piece of mind. Essential are hospital emergencies but is it worth getting GP/dental cover as well or are the c...

Re: waiting for PR application for newborn - short term visit pass extension declined

Hi All - my LO (little one) is still awaiting the PR. The LO was born in Singapore to 2 married (legit.), SPR parents (who both got PR as a family the prior year). The child already has an LTVP. We submitted the child's PR application online successfully, ~1+ months after birth. It is now 7+ months...

Re: Can children born in Singapore stay after 42 days if parents' incomes are less than DP-eligible?

Got colleagues already having trouble with the $6k/mth rule. New baby cannot get dependent pass , so some soul searching needing to be done. I havent studied the reasoning behind the $6k/mth individual rule , but why is $6k individual better than two parents who eanr $5k/mth. After having appeal rej...

Re: One guy dodging , one guy critically injured!

The SAF could avoid almost all injuries if they would adopt best practice HSE as in the Oil and Gas industry. In our industry we do not have the types of incidents the SAF does (people being run over, drowned, falling, getting hit by live fire) because of two solid decades of determined culture cha...

Hello I am Sai. I am admitted in PhD degree in NUS. I am unmarried. IS IT POSSIBLE FOR ME TO BRING MY MOTHER ON LTVP DURING MY STUDIES ALONE? I SAW IN THE ICA WEBSITE FOR LTVP ELIGIBILITY THAT "MOTHER/GRANDMOTHER OF CHILD/GRANDCHILD ON STUDENT PASS CAN APPLY FOR LTVP" If the above is not ...

Re: question about apply EP

Thats not how it works.

Need someone to offer you a job, you agree, and then they apply for you a pass.

The employee doesnt apply for the pass.

Just come on a standard tourist visa and give it a go looking for work.
