Re: Why do Singaporeans hate me?!?

I wouldn't bother with speaking Singlish though. Personally I think foreigners speaking Singlish come across as embarrassingly desperate and pathetic (nothing more so than white people who refer to themselves as 'ang mohs'). They may laugh for a few seconds, but they'll respect you less for it. Be ...

Re: Why do Singaporeans hate me?!?

Thank you Strong Eagle. I really needed that right now because I am really stressing this. I don't mean to make sweeping statements because I have met some very nice people who do not seem to have that outlook. I Guess it just got to me because I really want to be accepted and fit in here. I speak ...

Just wondering, is it possible to see F1 Grand Prix or any of the race for free? As I understand it will be running on actual streets? Or nevertheless, you need to have a ticket to these areas?

Re: New Criteria for PEPs w.e.f. 1/12/2012

CSC is the worst possible place you can use for price comparison. And your idea of lawn party, try Singapore Recreation Club or Other places. And if the management one day decides to charge regular prices to member, you wont say any more :D And, CSC is UNIQUE, as is Annalakshmi. They aren't to be u...

Re: Expat Salaries Falling Article

In the end, companies need to up their game to make sure they retain their staff and offset the impact of skills shortage.
