Re: Singapore based Audit Firm ...

Thank you SE.
I am aware of the audit requirements in Singapore, however as this is a subsidiary of an international company and they want the audit. They are having difficulties with their current auditors and are looking to change, so I thought I'd reach out to this community.

Singapore based Audit Firm ...

Hey all,
Hope you're doing well and I see that some of the old-timers are still going strong
Please let me know if you have any recommendations for audit firms in Singapore to audit a recruitment agency (small business).
TIA

I did consider it, but as I am no longer in the country I thought I was safe ... but who knows!

Re: Singapore - A Faustian Ideal

all those rules that have been put out there, have they really prevented you from doing something that you would otherwise do in a different city? Which works for 90% of the people who live here and agrees completely with the advice I've passed onto people on this forum who're looking at moving her...

Singapore - A Faustian Ideal

This article appeared in the Guardian and to my mind pretty much sums up the good and the bad about living in Singapore. I've paraphrased the concluding paragraph and the link to the full article is below. “It depends on your horizons,” he says. “If you keep to yourself, life is very comfortable her...

Re: Singapore Informal Conversations with Customers

Thank you for your replies and sorry for my late reply. I'm currently viewing the amazing sites of Petra in Jordan :D The good news is that my items arrived :) I just want to clarify that I did realise in hindsight that I really shouldn't have found the reply odd, but as I've been exposed to non-SG ...

Japan Used Panty Vending Machines

I first heard about the rumour of the existence of these when in Singapore. It seemed unbelievable, but it is Japan ... so you never really know. Here is an article on some research of the topic by someone which has some, lets say, not pretty findings. https://www.techinasia.com/japan-used-panty-ven...

Singapore Informal Conversations with Customers

Hey all and sundry I'm still around :) and pop by every now and then to see how you're all doing... I've just had (in hindsight unsurprising) not great experience with a Singapore company on their customer service and am wondering whether or not I'm being too harsh on them. Xiomi is an up and coming...

:Surprised: We're meant to take some comfort from that eh? I was just trying to illustrate that the high murder rate is very specific to a particular segement of the population. My suspicion is that its more dangerous to cross a street in Singapore. Other crimes ... I tend to liken SA to Malaysia a...

Good Bye

I know that I've been somewhat absent from the forum recently, and I've just dropped by to say "Goodbye." 6 years in Singapore is coming to an end! Its been a great journey, but now it is time to pack up and move back home - actually already there as I write. I've met lots of new people, m...
