Rugby World Cup on TV

I understand that we can only get broadcasts of the RWC 2011 on ESPN/mioTV. I am on Starhub, so pooh!! I also found out that to subscribe to mioTv I need a SingTel phone line at home. Double pooh.

Anyone has any idea how I can get any games "live" via the Internet?

Hi, I'd like to know of any good yoga places in Novena too. I used to go to Phillip Wain at Novena Square, and enjoyed the teachers and small classes but felt like I was paying too much because they charge for full gym membership and facilities (and all I wanted was to do yoga a couple of times a we...

I wouldn't know what truly authentic mexican food tastes like but I recently went to Casa Latina in Waterloo Street (Bras Basah MRT). It didn't taste like your regular Tex Mex stuff, which to me was a good sign. My American companion said it was pretty darned good. I googled Casa Latina as I'd neve...

Private swimming lessons

Can anyone please recommend a good swimming coach (preferably female), who is able to come to your condo for the sessions? I think I need a particularly good one as I've done two courses... and still can't do the basics!

Thanks for any suggestions.

Thank you all for your advice. I did get my visa (yay!) and it was a pretty straightforward in the end. I thought I'd share my experience and the process here anyway because I had quite a lot of difficulty finding info on the internet regarding these interviews. Hopefully this may help some other pe...

I agree with the last comment. I joined True Yoga with a one year membership but didn't use the last 4 months at all. I found it too noisy and huge, customers would gather and talk/laugh loudly, people brought mobile phones into the classes (they were on vibrator but you can still get distracted). D...

Interview for visa at US embassy

Hi all, Has anyone had the experience of going for an interview for a tourist visa to the US (likely a B1/B2). I need to do one as I want to spend Christmas there with some friends who've invited me. I've got my interview scheduled and am gathering the supporting documents (payslips, bank account st...

You could try this place at United Square (Novena), it's on the basement floor. I went there on a very quiet Saturday afternoon for lunch. Good food!

Suggestions for a good therapist

Would anyone have recommendations for a psychiatrist, counsellor or therapist to work through relationship problems? Not necessarily couples counselling, more for an individual.

Thank you.

I'd go by coach, I've never been on it personally but I've heard it's pretty good. There are companies to choose from as well, so they're pretty competitive about service and all that. I do take the train to Malaysia but not as far as KL. The railway company really has little incentive to provide ex...
