Wife's PR Approved!

After lurking here before deciding to apply for my wife's PR, I am happy to say that my wife has her PR application approved. It took slightly more than 3 months before ICA approved the application. Looking around the forums, it seemed unlikely that her application process was going to be this smoot...

Only a few people made the entire interview process and believe me it was not a very large percentage of the total number of people who went for the interview.

SQ has not lowered its standards in recruitment and I don't think it has reason to at this juncture.

i am going for the next walk in but i have an outstanding personal loan with a local bank. the application form requires us to declare if we have any loans outstanding and i'm wondering if it affects the chances of making it. can anyone offer any insight? thank you.

i got booted in round 1. none in my group got through. he stunned me, and i think i can safely say the other 9 of us by asking why we think SIA is a successful airline.

i reckon that it is a given that the ban will be imposed should you have failed mgmt. it is, however, not certain how long it lasts. i have read that for some people it was 3 months while for others it stretched up to 6.

i would like to know if there is a skin check for guys? i don't have the clearest of complexion, but it's not that bad at the same time. should i be worrying? :???: yup yup. guys do have the skin check. they'll be made to walk for a few metres to the interview. thereafter the interview will ask you...

i am just wondering if there will be a skin check or anything like so for guys in any of the rounds? not much is mentioned with regards to the male's interview process, although from what i've gathered, it's more or less similar less the kebaya round. any information or tips will be much appreciated...

got booted at the first round (what's new?). but on a serious note, there was this one really beautiful girl that caught my eye who got booted after the first round too. i wish i could go into the minds of the interviewers. oh the irony.............

One more thing, does it really give an added advantage if you can speak a foreign language? I can speak thai. And how will they know if you can or if you're merely lying? you can state your proficiency on the application form itself.. hmm..maybe during self-intro can also mention that.. could also ...
