Outdoor wood finish or sealant
Howdy! We have a nice wooden bench on our rooftop and the varnish is starting to go. Have used Sikkens for ages in the US, but can’t find it here. Anyone got any suggestions on a good local product for wood finishes for outdoor and exposed to direct sunlight wood furniture?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Toilet seats almost always wet!
Evening everyone, I’m a guy so i don’t usually use the actual toilet most times in a public restroom (urinals take care of most of my personal needs), but our daughter is two and now potty training so i now do so on a semi-regular basis and have noticed that, almost without fail, every toilet we us...

Western stable
Does anyone know a stable that offers western? Grew up on a farm and did rodeo most of my young life and looking for a stable that has western trained horses and tack. Even better if they have ponies for kids to learn as well. Thanks!

Average cost for a language tutor?
We are looking for a Mandarin tutor for our daughter. Does anyone have a rough guide on what the hourly rate for tutors is in Singapore? Have not done this here so just want to make sure that we have the right kind of expectation going in.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Where to get a BBQ grill?
Thanks for the suggestions all. Just to update, I ended up going with BBQ Warehouse (http://bbqwarehouse.com.sg/). The prices are still way more than I ever envisioned myself ever spending on a gas grill, but at least they are comparable to US prices and the current exchange rate so at least I know...

Where to get a BBQ grill?
Anyone know where to get a decent BBQ grill for a reasonable price? Went to two places today (BQ Mart at Kallang and Big Box at Jurong) and they had some decent ones, but at both, grills that would cost say US$400 (S$500 or so) in the US were going for S$1,400! Absolutely insane! I could buy the sa...

Re: Bio diesel/natural gas conversion
@ ecureilx - Palm oil IS a potential ingredient for biodiesel, but it is just one of many and is not an ideal one at that, others are restaurant waste, oil collected in sewer systems, roughage left from wheat/corn, etc. etc. etc. Either way, ANY source of biodiesel is far better for the environment ...

Re: Bio diesel/natural gas conversion
@ Strong Eagle: Yes, well aware of the constraints of switching to bio diesel, it is possible with older vehicles, but if there is no ready source of it in Sing, then not useful. I used to convert VW bugs to bio diesel quite easily, but you have to have a source of it, also, modern cars can be made...

Re: Suckling Pig
Thanks, have sent them a note asking if they have them. Also looking around a bit as well. Maybe will get lucky and come across the one I used to go to. Was a commercial butcher that had a small retail shop off to the side of the main packing plant area. Will update the chat if I am successful.

Suckling Pig
Anyone know where to get an uncooked suckling pig? I used to know a place in the Jurong area but stupid me deleted the number/address when I moved away in 2010 and am now back and looking for it again. I am not looking for one that is already roasted, I will handle that myself.
Thanks!
Thanks!
