Re: Renew EP or apply new EP

There is no quota for EP so your statement about Company A is wrong - quota is for SPass. Maybe best to stay with your present employer.

Re: How to prevent border problems for visiting girlfriend?

The visa resets when you leave and return, although there is no guarantee it will be renewed for 90 days. There must be something they don't like about her. Maybe Sg has had trouble with her country in the past. They probably ask the same questions each time to try and catch her out if her story cha...

Re: How to prevent border problems for visiting girlfriend?

Why was she hassled? What sort of questions was she asked? I would have thought that an outward ticket would be enough. A friend was here for more than 2 years, always leaving just before his 90 days were up. Only time he had any issues was when he did a day trip to Batam. They still gave him 90 day...

Re: Canada PR

I looked at Canada years ago. Nice country, friendly people but a crap climate. I had friends in Toronto and Calgary so visited both places, summer and winter. Loved Calgary, Toronto reminded me of Canary Wharf. I was in London at the time and it was booming so didn't follow through with the Canada ...

Re: PLEASE HELP I need visa information

Terminal 4 is new and connection is a bus from Terminal 2, so I think you need to go through immigration. Have a read of this link. https://bustravelstation.com/2017/11/09/changi-airport-terminal-4-free-shuttle-bus-service-transfer-between-terminal-4-and-terminal-2-airsidetransit-area/ As an Aussie ...

Sounds like good marketing by Sg to keep druggies out.

Singapore is a land of rules. It's only a problem if they want to enforce the rule you are currently breaking.

There are some cycling trails around Bukit Timah Nature Reserve. It's not too far away.

East Coast Park. Plenty of good trees to use and it's common to see hammocks, usually in the weekends.

Re: Travel search sites

I found booking directly with airlines to be more expensive than what I could find on Expedia. I was sold on Expedia when I saved SGD1,800 on the same flight available on the airline site. If booking the low cost carriers I think savings are minimal, it's more the convenience of having all flight op...

No.

He will only get banned if you marry without MOM permission. Applying will not effect his resident status.

For flights I use Expedia. Accommodation Booking.com.

I've found both to be good and Expedia in particular has produced some amazing savings.

Re: Chances of getting an SPass or Employment Pass

Unless you can find something in your translation field, which I imagine is highly specialised, you will struggle to find employment here. Spend your 90 days networking, something may come from that. Your 90 days can be extended by traveling out of Sg, but you will need to do extended trips away, no...

Re: Seeking to ROM Malaysian Boyfriend

If he wants to marry you and you are either a SC or PR then he needs to apply to MOM for approval. He has nothing to lose by requesting permission. If they approve then great. If they don't then hold off getting married and re-apply again in a year or so. It will not effect his status in any way. If...
