OK. But is 2B or <200 cc not enough for riding non sports bike in singapore?
200cc is better than nothing if that's all that's on offer. Personally I prefer something larger but I did have a 250cc bike here for 10 years and it was just fine for Sg. No so good for KL trips though.

Re: Indian Licence Conversion - 2B+Class 3

Things have changed over 8 years so emergency234 may have more current information. We have seen people having trouble getting anything more than the 2B because they can't show their test was performed on a bike of the required cc rating. This wasn't the case 8 years back, then you only needed to sh...

Re: "Virus is not under control in Singapore" UK govt. statement

Yes I noticed Sg was missing from the list. I guess they are looking at the total daily numbers rather than splitting out the community cases. Wasn't planning a trip to the UK anyway.

Normally I think a warning could be expected but as a foreigner he chose a bad time to make a "mistake".

Re: look for a direct transfer maid to take care infant

I don't think there is anything official because they still push maids to foreigners but MOM then rejects. Maybe they are hoping there might be exceptions.

Re: How much is ur utilities bill during the wfh period

My bill has gone down as my wife is outside Sg for the duration of Covid. I don't use aircon or hot water and my computers were already on 24/7 before the wfh thing started.

She gets upset and report them from cheating her money, but at the same time confesses that she bribed them.
Which would mean not just silly but stupid too. Best send her back to Malaysia, which I'm sure will happen at some point anyway.

A lot of FDW don't want to work as a slave for a shouty local though.
Exactly. I know some going home.

Don't forget age. Isn't there a cut off, 50? Maybe earlier now?

Re: Transfer a FDW directly to new employer is being delayed by MOM?

I know some FDWs caught up with this, can't transfer to expat families, only locals. Didn't understand why but Sndy's explanation makes sense.

So their options are go home or transfer to a local and move as soon as MOM permits. Moving from expat employer to local employer is a big change.
