It's coming. prices coming down that is. I checked the government site on recently transacted prices and found less transactions taking place in March. This is an ongoing trend for the last three months. And then there is this developer who just pulled out of the enbloc on Tulip Garden's, all becaus...

Plastic Bags

Why is it that when you go into the supermarket to pick up a loaf of bread, carton of milk and eggs you get all 3 items put into 3 different carrier bags? It's a bit harsh on the environment, don't you think? Also, has anyone wondered why Singapore is so clean? It's because everything get's thrown i...

i also used them on in-bound and found them to be good. However, the firm moving our stuff from the UK packed up six boxes of stuff which we told them to leave behind in the UK so Helu sent these back to the UK about 6 months ago. My folks were over a few weeks ago and said they never received the 6...

Big shocks as you mention. Rentals are already down from what I can see and the sale market is definitely heading south as well. Just need to wait for those mortgage payments to start piling up and hurting folk. I for one have had enough and am moving out of Singapore. I know many others in the same...

Absolutely not normal. Pay her a salary and buy her those additional things when you shop with her unless you feel sorry for her and want to pay her this on top. Otherwise she won't spend it on what she is supposed to be spending it on.

You will also find that many locals who own a private condo are now moving out and into their HDB's so they can get more income from the rental yield. I have seen quite a few on my development. The interesting thing is though that I have noticed three units in my block that have been empty now for t...

Take a look in the Straits times on a Saturday and view the sales pages, it's chocca block with property for sale and rent. I was thinking of buying and went to see something last week. They were asking for 1.10m and the agent said they would listen to offers around 1.08m - I was like, get real mate...

The market is definitely slowing down here so don't be fooled by all cr*p agents feed you as prices are starting to come off. The trouble here though is that owners of units are prepared to leave the place empty for 6 months to get the price they want, doesn't figure right? But the fact that their m...
