Currently it stands anywhere from 6 months to 25 months and the length of time has absolutely no bearing on the eventual success or failure of the application. Fact.
I see. Thank you for your input. I will bear that in mind.

Hi everyone! Hope everyone is doing well and staying safe. I want to ask people who applied for PR application recently. I'm not sure where I saw it but it was stated that the waiting time for reply is usually about 4 to 6 months. But two of my friends waited for a year to get a reply and they both ...

PNGMK, you missed the fact that he is neither female nor Chinese. He is ethnically Burmese. But as I've already noted, I wish him luck.
And his user name is Burmese "Chinese". I'm guessing this is the source of confusion.
Yeah, I noticed that. I think I might need to change my username.

Re: PR approval chances 2021 and advice

You actually have a reasonable chance (young female and Chinese). I would encourate you to consider applying AFTER this years tax assessment (late April). While you salary is low the gahmen has admitted to having troubles filling their slots for PR and your age and salary are actually in line (i.e....

Re: PR approval chances 2021 and advice

It's possible but not probable. You will need to have worked for at least 2 years (or three tax assessments) but honestly, your ethnicity is going to be a difficult hurdle to clear. Being raised in a Chinese household has about as much chance as I have becoming ethnically Indian and I've been marri...

Re: PR approval chances 2021 and advice

The biggest worries are your low pay and your lack of work experience. It helps that you have studied in local institutions and are on a bond. I think it may be best to wait until you finish serving your bond. By then, you would have lived in SG for 10 years, worked for 3, and you may have a higher...
