Check your lease it may state that you are required to have a quarterly service agreement proir to the start of lease. As mrdodge says things grow and cause problems, we run the aircon once a week for maintenance purposes or when we have visitors staying. To disconnect a machine would leave it vulne...

. I buy images on-line for my work and usually have to pay up-front before the customer pays me, that's all. Hi UK Just peaked my interest, in that I started my working life as a photographer over 25yrs ago and am currently trying to find my way back into the field and have been checking out the op...

I think you need to take a little trip to Canning Hill Fort and find out what exactly happened. Yes the British were unprepared but saying 'they did not lift a finger' smacks of sheer arrogance. The quote was meant tongue in check, as Singapore was conceeded to inferior numbers as it is pointed out...
I hope this country is never attacked by any of your neighbours because with that type of attitude you will lay down and surrender without lifting a finger like a bunch of whimpering puppies.

You mean like the british did during WWII ???

Sooner or later you will pay, so best to make some sort of arrangement before you leave or you may find that you return here for work one day and have an extend leave of absence from work due to the fact that once a offense has been lodged against you it all goes on computor which is available to Im...

I think in the end it all depends on you and what you want out of life, if this will help improve your future and you focus on doing it, then I believe you can. But it would be easier with support from your friends and family instead of negatives. Whatever you decide to do I wish you luck.

I noticed the slight humidity when I was out there, and the rather fanciful driving, esp by the taxi drivers. That reminds me, how do so many taxi drivers NOT know where certain landmarks are? Drove me mad... :x The thing with taxi drivers is that they dont have to pass a test of any sort to become...

How can you call it unlucky when you make a deliberate act of throwing away rubbish, and being caught for the second time. Obviously the first time taught you nothing. I can not understand how people can throw crap in the street when you wouldn't do it in your own home. I'm not saying I'm a clean fr...

They have both European/American and Asian size beds and bedding here in singapore. We brought our king size bed with us from Australia and so long as you are aware of the right size you can buy correctly.

Ozchic said I took my laptop to the Christmas dinner and sent them an email to say I was missing them and that I was appalled by the situation. I think they appreciate this...and I couldn't leave it unsaid or pretend it wasn't happening....... It's cringeworthy stuff....no doubt about it...
...
