La vie en rose,
I'm confused...
Do you mean that your nose tip became flatter than your god made nose after Kim? notice that I didn't say Dr. ... lol...
If so, how did that happen from the doctor just putting ear cartilage there? Or had the L eroded your tip?
THANKS!!!

la vie en rose, It sounds like you have more Caucasian skin than Asian skin... Generally, Caucasian skin does not tolerate artificial implants well. Goretex can be used but very exactly and in very low amounts. This is due to the fact that your skin is so much thinner. Also, any mess up from the doc...

I see... then, it's not going to fall out on it's own based on your description. Here is the stitch essentially... it's a loop with a knot that is located above the flesh. The doctor/nurse will cut the knot or close to the knot, and then it quickly pulls out. I think sometimes, the nurses will cut i...

It seems they always leave some stitches in the nose... The black ones almost always fall out on their own in time. Be careful... it may also be a dissolvable stitch used to change the shape of your nose tip... it's clear or clear yellow in color and dissolves in a couple of months... DO NOT remove ...

betty, I'm in my early 20s but I experienced the same thing that you did at one month. After I did the epi, it lowered my double eyelid, so when I was back in the States, I went to a doctor to raise my double eyelid. It was deep for about a month... now, it has been about a month and a half, and slo...

mynose, I did epi with Dr. Chuang. It only took 1 week to heal. It has been 4 months. I have no resulting scars from it. It did have tiny tiny little scar bumps that came and went at 1 month postop, but now, I don't have any of it... For epi, you have the z-epi method, which most doctors don't do, b...

betty,
just be patient.
This is normal. It is very common for the eyes to look too deep, too high, etc in the first month... especially if you are not in your 20s anymore and you got incisional.

wasadeha, that is true what the doctors said to you. You cannot extend the tip of the nose with silicone. If a doctor thinks that an L implant is used to extend the tip, run away from him. L implant is to keep the implant from shifting overtime, and for collumella shaping. When a doctor uses it to p...

Astrogirl, I read several accounts (from a Canadian forum) that when goretex was removed, it took out small chunks of their nose bone and flesh with it... resulting in a mishapened nose. Wasadeha, You may be right... I can't say what is right and what is wrong. Afterall, they are doctors, and I'm no...

I do think goretex is most likely safe for longterm. But, there is one undeniable fact. Over a long period of time, it is hard to remove. I know MANY doctors here in the US that will not touch you or consider you if they know you want goretex removal. It is absolutely impossible to not remove the pa...
