As I mentioned I am Australian and fall in the Other category.
For clarity - ethnic group is Caucasian? Sorry it looks like we are splitting hairs, but the distinction is important for PR purposes.

Re: PR approval chance in 2020

otherwise how would sng attract top scholars to move there? With $$$. Keep in mind that PR is looking more for potential future citizens, rather than attracting foreign talent to SG. See below... Can you point me to the website that gives the criteria for PR status? https://www.ica.gov.sg/apply/PR/...

Re: PR approval probability 2020

We enquired on our application status via email to ICA, today got the reply rejected. Our box was there, till ICA replied 2 days ago saying outcome finalized. But i think this works both ways...my friend has box missing for a while and no reply yet. Interesting. So the box disappeared when ICA said...

Re: PR approval chance in 2020

Just wondering, why ppl state their religion? Does it have any weight in PR or citizen application? I noticed this too! I wonder if it's because they saw others state it, or if they are thinking it may be important. The latter could be cause such religious distinctions are known to be important in ...

Re: PR approval probability 2020

@mt nut, sure once they have a reply, has urs also gone missing? Mine went missing, and then 3 days later the IPA letter arrived. Then 1 day after the IPA letter arrived, the status in the portal updated. I would caution that I'm not sure it means a good result - I believe it may mean there is a re...

Re: PR approval probability 2020

Hi all, One of our friend having PR application pending like us have their submit additional document box on their application page missing. I read in the forums earlier that it indicates chance for approval. Is it true? I believe it might indicate a decision has been made - I tracked this as well ...

Re: [Guide] PR Approved - now what?

Update: I contacted ICA, they advised it's likely because my wife's fingerprints were not captured clearly enough during formalities :( Also - any new PR's who are married that noticed that the myinfo for marital status shows up as"Single"? I asked to get it corrected, but am being directed to get v...

Its possible they have company health insurance. I saw the thread - looks like the OP is under a lot of emotional stress. Guess its not surprising they snapped at you, but thought you replied gracefully anyway :)

Re: [Guide] PR Approved - now what?

The message is very clear. ICA may not reveal the reason on why other options to collect is not available for your spouse. Any problem collecting it from ICA? The ICA appointment slots are only open more than a month in the future, whereas Singpost is within the week. I've emailed ICA to try to con...

Re: [Guide] PR Approved - now what?

I completed formalities last week, and I have the option to collect my IC from Singpost. However, my spouse has the message "Not Eligible for Alternate Site Collection"

Any idea why this could be?
