I was being silly Lisa...

As for why the father charged for only one death and not the other, there are several scenarios that come to mind but not my place to speculate. Very unfortunate.
I was thinking much along the same lines. I hope the father will give some clarity before he's dealt with.

Re: Should we have a FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT?

Hahaha you’re not wrong, but unfortunately useless we have these tough conversations a things will always stay the same. I've been here 5 months shy of 40 years now. Want to know how many times this has been discussed? And it still stays the same. When the PAP has a stranglehold on parliament it wi...

I also a eat lots of chickpeas, beans and different kinds of lentils (check Indian stores and/or Indian brands). You obviously don't have gout issues like a lot of us. lol I don’t have gout (and hope to stay that way), how do chickpeas affect those with gout? Didn’t even know that was a thing, alwa...

Re: Enhanced security for digital banking

Ya sender info is a big problem, that needs to be fixed. Banks are also not going to send non essential promotional emails/messages anymore and I hope this stays. More importantly they've gotten rid of SMS notifs and clickable links. Now there won’t be a question of “is this a scam?” at all, simply...

Re: EP Processing Time Sep/Oct 2020

Thanks for sharing your experience. It helps. I have just started my process but the company is applying on my behalf, so I guess I don't really have to do much, other than waiting? It is the only way you can get an Employment Pass. The prospective company MUST apply for it. You cannot apply for th...

Re: Tesla

I was given to understand that the carbon footprint is as high or even higher than the ICE is over the normal lifetime of the vehicle from mfg to scrapping and beyond. The reason is the footprint that the battery create in their mining and mfg before they even get into the vehicle. I might be wrong,...

In 40 years I've not heard of an appeal working. However, I've heard of appeals failing and subsequently applying 2 years later and being approved. [I'm one of them]

So now diets are like homo-sapiens. no longer male & female but umpteen different variations and 7,465 different pronouns. Homo-sapiens were born with molars to grind vegatable matter and incisors to cut and tear meat. Who are we to tell the creator his/she was wrong?

Not that common, but not unheard of. Usually happens when qualified for both but safer to apply for Family Ties. That way, no matter what happens re: REP renewal, as long as you came in under Family Ties should not be much of an issue (although it could theoretically). I don't mention it because is ...

Nope. Cannot be any information/action taken after the original application date. If it happened after the date on your application, it is what it is. It will require a period of time before you can submit a new application. Theoretically 6 months, realistically, from 17 years of anecdotal evidence,...

Re: Best vegetarian meat alternatives

Seafood. How do you justify eggs if you are veg based. Eggs come from chickens. Chickens are meat unless you are talking about mammals. If that's the case, the Seafood qualifies okay as it not mammalian. May as well eat fowl as well, as the chicken egg is the same without the bone, unless you go to ...
